Yojoe36 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 What the actual FVCK is this shit?!!?? So people come on here and post "We want Sven out" throughout all fvcking September and October, non bloody stop. Then the EXACT same people 2-3 months later are saying "Oh, Sven was sacked too early" And are saying "Pearson is shit get him out" I'm astounded by the shit which comes from our supporter's mouths. I have to say, Pearson is being shit. But dear god, people asking for his head??!! Has he even had as many games as Sven's had this season!!? Pearson hasn't brought in ANY players yet. The players we have are poor. The likes of King and Wellens need to go The problem is there's no one to replace them. So we get rid of Fernades. Makes sense right? Our squad is in the shit.
Babylon Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 It does when your pre conceived ideas are that we'll play boring hoofball and that it won't work and we'll not only be bored but sliding down the table ... and then it come true. I do agree that we shouldn't sack him .... but I'm struggling to find any other reason than; it's not usually a good idea to chop and change managers as justification for that view. And where did Svens tippy tappy football get us? Not where we wanted. Pearson played boring functional footy at Hull until he signed the players he wanted. Their fans then said the football started to improve and was good passing football. Maybe that will happen here, maybe it won't. Without a year in charge we won't know.
EnglishOxide Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Not read the first post but the OP can **** off. No more manager changes. What you have to ask yourself is, can Pearson turn it around? Yes. Write this season off, let him rebuild and lets go again next season, i'm pretty sure we will be looking like a different team if he is given time. If he goes, then we continue this bullshit manager cycle while getting nowhere.

What I'm trying to get into people's heads is we were 1 place of a play off place and eveyone wanted the manager out? We now find ourselves in 15th, playing the most negative, defensive, boring football I've ever seen. From play offs to a write off? Unbelievable.
renards Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Can anyone honestly say whilst Sven was manager you would have welcomed his forced moving out of the club and being replaced by Pearson. I for one thought that Top etc must have something big up their sleves to get rid of a management set up that was respected and not doing that bad, Sven had to rebuild the club inc a massive amount of behind the scenes stuff, a lot of positives inc decent signings but something wrong on the pitch that may or may not have been sorted. What is a fact though is that so far Pearson is failing, a good manager should be able to cut it at this level at least with the players in takes over, look at MON. He may turn it around, so might of Sven.

If we had the players under Sven to play 'tippy tappy' football why revert to hoofing it, lead us to a run of 1 win in 8 games if (as he claims) you're only going to replace players anyway?
Guest nathan. Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I really hope the owners dont read this forum
Soar Fox Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Write the season off?? I'm sure the thousands of people who spent hundreds of pounds on season tickets will be happy with that.

Maybe that will happen here, maybe it won't. Without a year in charge we won't know. It got us on the verge of being where we wanted to be yes .... alot nearer than we are today. The bonus was that it was also enjoyable to watch, Sven would be honest and accept criticism, and the off field side of things was exciting.... It's all gone in the opposite direction. I really hope the owners dont read this forum I really hope they do!

We now find ourselves in 15th, playing the most negative, defensive, boring football I've ever seen. From play offs to a write off? Unbelievable. I'm fully aware of where we were when Pearson joined. I was unhappy that Sven was sacked and wasn't given time. I would be equally unhappy if Pearson was sacked now for the exact same reason. Give him more than 13 ****ing games. And yes, write off. No more talk of promotion or playoffs. Take each game as it comes and as development, try, at least to support the players and manager on a game to game basis, no matter how shit they appear to be. If we do get into the playoff places by the end of the season, then right now that is looking like a bonus. What makes you think that sacking Pearson will improve things? Who the **** is going to change this current run? Write the season off??I'm sure the thousands of people who spent hundreds of pounds on season tickets will be happy with that. Yes, write it off in terms of your expectations. This is not the team or manager that started the season so it should not be expected to fall under the same expectations. Maybe if our ambitions were lowered a little while the manager gets a chance to manage, some people might enjoy the games and some pressure might be taken off the players and management.
lcfcsnow Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Whats sacking Pearson going to achieve Whats appointing Pearson achieved
5waller5 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Hes been back 5 minutes Two months. A slide of 10 points and 8 places during that time. As well as harder to measure; deterioration in style of football, fan's optimism, motivation of squad, belief in the club, ability to sign players, reputation of the club, visibility = media attention = motivation for the owners to pile in more cash..... to name but a few of his achievements!!!
Guest nathan. Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Wanting a manager sacked after 2 months says it all. Seriously who would you like see replace Pearson
Blue forever Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I started reading this thread, and after today's game and listening to the comments on radio Leicester, I was totally dismayed at the performance. However, we keep going on about Pearsons long ball game, but the only player that kept playing the long ball at every opportunity was Mills!!! One great pass, but 1 dreadful back pass, and the majority of other passes going out for throw ins or corners!! But that's not Pearsons doing, he was doing that all the time at the beginning of the season!!! We have noting in midfield at the moment! And limited options! We know Pearson likes 442, but have to play with just nugent as he works a lot harder then beckford ever does! And even Gallagher puts in more of a shift!! Things will come good but we need quality in midfield!!! Wasn't it Pearson who brought in Cleverly and Davies, both qualIty players!!! But as mentioned before in a response he builds a team and needs to develop them! GIVE PEARSON A FIGHTING CHANCE! The squad needs some changes but lets see what happens in the transfer window then judge him
Stand UP... Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Wanting a manager sacked after 2 months says it all. Seriously who would you like see replace Pearson i dont want pearson sacked, but would love sven to replace him if he was!
z-layrex Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I'd rather go down to the ****ing Blue Square than have any more manager changes.
5waller5 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Wanting a manager sacked after 2 months says it all. Seriously who would you like see replace Pearson It says how poorly he has done yes. Haven't given it any consideration who I'd like to see him replaced by ... Maybe we could get Sven back .... I don't think for one minute we'll sack NP though, we'll have the rest of the season to put up with this dross and people defending him and blaming Sven.

5waller5 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 **** it why bother I agree .... I wouldn't bother either, you're defending the indefensible I'm afraid.
Sharmania Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I'm new to the forum, but I thought I'd get involved with this. We absolutely must NOT get rid of Nigel Pearson, I was against sacking Sven in the first place but that ship has sailed. One of our main problems is that we're always going through changes. Look at the side we had in 2008/2009. Players like Morrison, Fryatt, Solano, Brown and even more that were regulars are gone. Paulo Soussa comes in and barely lasts ten games because he tries to make us play European passing football, but never taught us how to use that to score goals. Sven comes in and we find ourselves with Vassell and Bamba, who were good signings, then loanees Roman Bednar, Chris Kirkland, Patrick Van Aanholt, Jeffrey Bruma, Greg Cunningham, Curtis Davies, Yakubu, Kyle Naughton and maybe more. We had a completely different back four to the season before and a completely new striker. Our side still had the usuals like Andy King and Richie Wellens but was still unrecogniseable. Now look at where we are now. NONE of those loan players stayed and we ended up bringing in no less than eleven new players! Our back four has completely changed again, we've got a new captain (who is shocking), our strikers are a complete change and the midfield of regulars are now playing the long ball. In three seasons we've had three managers and played three different styles of football. We're constantly changing and expecting big things quickly. We DO NOT want to get rid of Nigel Pearson and make yet ANOTHER set back. We're always having to get used to a new way of doing things and we just need some consistency in the backroom staff, players and matches!!! Rant over.
