this has to be a joke. he nearly got us up last time he was here. he's trying to build a new side. success takes time. i have to say there's a large proportion of lcfc fans who are complete tossers. delusions of grandeur springs to mind.

O'Neill would have turned it around by now

How could O'Neill of turned it round when he doesn't want to be here?

Do you go to the Bristol, Reading and Millwall home games?

We're playing no different. So rather than being the usual bunch of reactionary idiots why not give the manager a chance to build HIS team?

We're playing crap and we played crap under Sven. Maybe this group just aren't good enough!!!

Hull fans wanted him out as well after a dozen games. What happened there? He got his own men in (like he did first time here) and he turned the team around.

There are no guarantees, but to call for a manager to go who hasn't managed to get one player in yet is as pathetic as our current performances.

I understand giving him time and i think we would be crazy to sack him. Its just the inability to pick a side that doesn't just hoof the ball up. That didn't happen as much under sven, i wasn't a sven fan either as every team he manages they can't seem to play a decent full game.

On a positive note, we are only a good run away from the play offs and the lower teams don't seem to be catching up with us.

Our midfield is bad but only because half the time the ball doesn't go through them.

For gods sake! Have some god damn patience! Sven has left us with a team that has no spirit, no gel they are individuals. Give Pearson some time to change things. Pearson will bring in some quality whether its on loan or permo, who knows, but he will bring in two wingers and a striker who has pace, and shed clap down on these pre-madonnas (if they wanna fight for the team then they can stay, if not feck off).

Pearson is good at building a team that wants to play for him, wants to play for eachother, give it time!

Quit with the fecking booing, quite with moaning. Start SUPPORTING your god damn team!

Up the mighty blues!

Why are people queuing up to blame Sven, STILL?

You were wrong when you were ejaculating into your pants about him being sacked, and you're wrong now.

Save for Millwall at home this season, that was worse than anything we produced under Sven. This run of form is as bad as anything under Sven.

Don't let Pearson's first stint here fool you, his return looks increasingly like a massive mistake.

'Why are people blaming Sven, STILL?' Well he had a whole summer to assemble one of the most average and expensive squads in Championship history, that's why.

Awful signings, ridiculous wages, embarrassing transfer fees all culminating in a terrible squad, which NP has to pick the pieces out of.

I, and others, and with absolute justification, will continue to berate SVEN'S team until at least mid February when our current manager has had time to build a squad he can call 'his'.

Don't understand the "look what Sven left" talk.

Our problem is clearly the clueless midfield. And all four today have been there much longer than Sven. How Wellens and King still play together I have no idea.

Hahaha idiots calling for Pearson's head already. Have you seen what Sven left him with? Get a grip, the club don't need you right now.

yes we have but 5 of the starting 11 was here when pearson was here last time.

NP was never the right replacement,Although sacking a man too early like we did with Sven isn't the right option,Let him spend in January and see what happens in the summer.

Nothing like a good ol' fashioned Leicester sacking to lift our spirits. Sack Sack Sack!!

Yes, sack everyone! Bring back Momo Sylla, Elvis Hammond and co.

At least they were funny shit rather than crap shit. :D

Here are my remedies for the situation as it stands.

  1. We need a cull in midfield. A brutal, ruthless cull. Wellens is half the player he was two years ago and so, unfortunately, is King. Dyer has improved significantly since Pearson's return but still cannot cross a ball which is a problem. We need more pace on the flanks and grafters in the middle. Letting Fernandes go was a huge mistake because I think he'd have made a huge difference today. We need a box-to-box midfielder and a defensive midfielder who isn't afraid to get stuck in and break up opposition attacks.
  2. We're a mess defensively and Peltier is inconsistent. Konchesky can hold his head up high because he has done well as can Bamba, but short of an early Ivorian exit from the African Cup of Nations, we've to wait a while before he comes back. Mills needs to know he isn't untouchable but with SSL seemingly on his way out and Bamba on international duty, he pretty much is. Time to raid the loan market.
  3. Beckford can score at Premiership level, which is why Everton fans were disappointed to see him leave. He is good enough for us but is lacking confidence because of two things; the fans' high expectations and vocal disappointment because he is failing to meet them, and Pearson's insistence on bringing him up on 15-20 cameos. Even the best strikers cannot live off scraps. Pearson needs to be more bolshy and realise that he's the boss, not us. Yakubu took dogs' abuse here but is now lethal in the Premier League with Blackburn. Beckford could be the same if Pearson had the balls to rest a tired looking Nugent and give Beckford a run. Score one or two and he might surprise us.
  4. This isn't 2009 any more. Ship out the dead wood that aren't performing as they were in our play-off season. Howard, Oakley, Gallagher and Wellens aren't good enough any more, just as Fryatt and Hobbs weren't last year either. Wholesale changes required.

Sven had a year to replace them, he tried but kept playing them though. The players Pearson signed were for league one and to stay in this league... Not to win the league as people seemed to expect us to!!

Average mid table side is about right. 15th now and 11 points above relegation. All encouraging at Palace with a few changes. Moore and Kennedy amongst best players and don't get a look in since. I'm sure Pearson has a plan but no one else knows what it is.

Next two weeks vital. Need at least 4 new players. Mills needs to be stripped of captaincy and told to find his form. may as well play SSL.

Another thoroughly disappointing afternoon.

PEARSON SORT IT OUT PLEASE.
