Morale

Would anyone else like to tell me that there's not a morale problem at the club?

Dressing room is not a happy place.

Most of the team are quite happy to under perform as long as they get there money at the end of the week.

Football has lost its morals, its not just a morale problem in our dressing room.

If they are that unhappy then they can all **** off. I'll bet they are not so quick to leave for lower wages though. They have made us a ****ing laughing stock and have shown no gratitude, desire or bottle all season. ****ing disgrace to their profession!!

Was I the only one who noticed that when we were warming up before the game. Beckford was on his own. Everybody was doing their own thing, no team banter.

Logan is clearly not happy to be here because he was moaning about something.

When Pearson says imbalance of squad, I don't think he just means there's too many players in some positions than others. I also think he means there are some players on massive wages and others on ordinary wages. It's no coincidence IMO that wellens form has dipped since we've brought in the likes of beckford and danns on big wages. how would you feel if someone at your work who does the same

Job as you And not as well but gets paid a lot, lot more. Is it any wonder morale is bad in the squad, I say get rid of the overpaid ones and lets just write this season off. Let's re group in the summer, don't go over the top with wages and get a good morale within the team

Do you believe that every player at Man City / United, Chelsea etc, etc are all paid the same?

As for Wellens his form has dipped since he was given an extended and improved contract by Sven less than a year ago So I hardly think his pay will differ wildly from the likes of Danns or most others.

Leicester City Football Club is delighted to announce that midfielder Richie Wellens has signed a new contract, keeping him with the Foxes until 2014.

A summer capture from Doncaster Rovers in 2009, Richie has been among City's most consistent performers during the last two seasons and has firmly established himself as a favourite among the Club's supporters.

Agreeing a two-year extension to his existing deal, the 30-year-old playmaker becomes the latest member of the squad to commit his long-term future to Sven-Goran Eriksson's Foxes revolution.

Richie told lcfc.com: "This is a club with a big future that wants to get itself back in the Premier League and I'm delighted that I'll have the chance to be part of that.

"I hope to keep improving with every year I play and hopefully that can happen while helping Leicester get to where they want to be.

The moral in the dressing room was probably alot better than the moral in Tops executive box. The £60+ million spent on Leicester City so far makes the £5 million purchase of Akinbiyi look like shrewd business deal

It's been obvious for a long time, look at pearson today, usually when i think of pearson, i think of someone screaming at players, getting them motivated, getting them marking the correct players, i saw him do it once or twice today. Ive said from the start of the season, there's no one in this team who can create chances, wellens can be good at starting play off with a ball folward but when its up there, then we piss about with it around the edge of the box before we go backwards or get tackled, how many times this season has a player of ours gone 1v1 with the keeper from a sick through ball or w/e, we've gotta face the facts, pearsons got a job to do rebuilding this team, as thats what needs to be done. A poor barnsley team, who lets face it, apart from Vaz te had no sort of attacking pedigree about them, there defence was one of the worst ive seen, shambles, they could barely pass the ball. Yet we still struggled to create chances, we had them in bits for the first 10 mins of the second half, they had no sort of positioning or anything, we stilll couldnt do anything, why play Gallagher in role where he has to run around like a headless chicken, up front. Beckford should of started, would of given them alot more problems. Then again, im a Leicester fan, nothing is easy when leicester are involved. Sooooo annoyeddddd

team that keeps losing in low morale shock. the players are overpaid wankers, the fans are borderline jokes, this club is ridiculous.

This!

Wins breed morale.

Players cost many times more than anyone else's except WestHam, would guess that the same with wages too, although wouldn't surprise me if our Premier League stars are on even more for the inconvenience of stepping down.

Fans are in short supply, I've only seen 'fans' for a while now.

The club has been ridiculous for a long time... the money has accelerated the level of ridiculousness though
