FoxyMusic Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 My mates a big Northampton fan and he reckons Big Steve could be returning to his old club. Think it's about time now. Been a good servant to us but out of his depth now. Thoughts?
billyfox1 Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 From BBC Feed 1024: BBC Radio Northampton sports editor Geoff Doyle reports that it is likely to be a busy day for League Two's bottom club Northampton Town, although any deals are unlikely to happen before late afternoon, while a return to the club for Leicester striker Steve Howard is thought to be unlikely.

Sounds like Howard going then might be old cobblers then
cc_star Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Only way he'll leave is if we get a big man in first So until you see us signing a big man he's going nowhere, we're short on numbers as it is up front.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 West ham are like a STD in a brother ****ing everywhere!
Corky Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 I hope appearance and trophy add ons are included in that deal.

Been a good servant to us but out of his depth now. Thoughts? No way. He's one of NP favs and brings something different to the end of the game when brought on. unless we can get a better player of the same caliber of big steve then no!

Though I agree with your point in principle, I think you've misunderstood the definition of caliber.
foxfanazer Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Though I agree with your point in principle, I think you've misunderstood the definition of caliber. And spelling
beemeroo Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 And spelling And that of course, but I'm beginning to get used to the interchangeability of English and American spellings!
blue army 1988 Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Unless NP letting big steve go means that Heskey is coming back on the books and i thought this was a forum not an english lesson
jonlcfc1990 Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 +1 For mentioning the lords name HESKEY TIME!
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 +1 For mentioning the lords name HESKEY TIME! Heskey
foxfanazer Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Unless NP letting big steve go means that Heskey is coming back on the books and i thought this was a forum not an english lesson It was a joak
beemeroo Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Unless NP letting big steve go means that Heskey is coming back on the books and i thought this was a forum not an english lesson I'm not that much of a pedant. It's just calibre is used to refer to ability, I think you may have meant mold.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Beging to sound like a load of cobblers as they as Northampton are saying there I'd mp turth in it. See even Cobblers don't want him :-(

The Blur Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Would say Howard should go, a slash off the wage bill and allowing chances for the likes of Waghorn,Schlupp and Hooper. We have been playing without a target man all of the season so I can't see why we still need him- all of the strikers mentioned above can something different coming off the bench not least the fresh legs. That said, I would be gutted to see Howard go though.
beemeroo Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Not the grammar police again !!!!!!! I'm not the grammar police. I'm the definition coastguard.
wellyfox Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Hmmmmmmmm Howard to the cobblers. And who's gonna pay his wages?? I doubt they could offer half what we pay him.
