Simo86 Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 Hannover 96: Malmo FF Puma 3rd Kit: Crew Alex, Nice and Simple design by Cabrini, looks smart: The Hannover kit looks awful! Almost looks like its just a big smiley face The Malmo kit could do with a sponsor. The Crewe kit looks smart though
Finnegan Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 Uh, it is a smiley face... that's their sponsor. Uh, it is a smiley face... that's their sponsor.
Simo86 Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 Uh, it is a smiley face... that's their sponsor. Well no their sponsor is a smile, not a face, but the badge and the kit manufacturer emblem makes it look like a face
Simo86 Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 In my opinion, it looks too plain. Each to their own and all that though
Simo86 Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 Man City kits are going to be "designed" by Nike from the 2013/14 season. Shame cos Umbro always make decent kits.
21st Century Fox Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 In my opinion, it looks too plain. Each to their own and all that though I guess so, I much prefer a shirt to a billboard.
Simo86 Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 I guess so, I much prefer a shirt to a billboard. You mean like this I love how South American teams try to cram on as many sponsors as possible
21st Century Fox Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 You mean like this I love how South American teams try to cram on as many sponsors as possible Yeah, they look like F1 cars.
21st Century Fox Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 I think that Malmo shirt may have subliminal sponsorship. I can't stop thinking I want to go to TGI Fridays now.
Langston Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 I think that Hannover effort is fairly alright, really. It doesn't leave me in awe but doesn't offend my vision by any means. A solid attempt, even more so considering the manufacturer conjured up our Topps Tiles effort.

Simo86 Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 Nike own Umbro, I'd imagine there wont be a massive change. Didn't know that. Umbro kits tend to differ though where as Nike tend to be quite similar.

Yes I suppose so, I think the main thing from this is that Man Utd will have a different manufacturer in 13/14, I heard a whisper that Under Armour's move to produce for Tottenham is as a stepping stone and with the American links to Man Utd and Under Armour's ridiculous budget they could well muscle their way in the the Premier League with a few teams. Also, Burda, who are owned by the Qatari royal family, would have been Man Utd's kit manufacturer had the Qatari takeover of United been successful... that would have been lol lol.

Yeah that makes sense. Haha that would have been hilarious! Think of the amount of people taking their shirts back
AjcW Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 Yeah that makes sense. Haha that would have been hilarious! Think of the amount of people taking their shirts back Apparently the Qatari royal family are shocked at how things have gone for them, when they took over Burda they were fully expecting to be a force in the Premier league and Europe by now.

Really? Obviously their opinion of a quality kit and our opinion are very far apart!
HEGGSY Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 A force in the PL I can see they'd be quite disappointed at manufacturing for PL relegation fodder (wolves) 2 Mid Table Championship sides (Us and Watford) and a mediocre national side (Belgium) There the only ones I can think of.

They do Nice's kit from the French league, the Kuwait national sides, Fc Twente's and of course the Qatar national sides

HEGGSY Posted 4 May 2012 Posted 4 May 2012 They are also kit suppliers for the Vietnamese V-League, much like Adidas are for the MLS.
