MattPanda3 Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Hi all, I am hoping to attend the game on saturday as a netural fan ( i support aldershot if you really care ) and i was wandering if people can give me advice on the following sections: West stand tier 1 c1 west stand tier 1 c2 west stand tier 1 a2 west stand tier 1 a1 where is best to be situated? Many thanks
Webbo Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 There isn't really a bad view anywhere in the ground. C1 and C2 are in the corner not sure about the other areas.

Mike the Metal Ed Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 A1 and A2 are the opposites of C1 and C2 at either end of the West Stand. A is nearer the family end of the ground, C is towards the kop. Either way it'll be dead. If you're in A you might hear L1 across the pitch but no guarantees.
Saxondale Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I sit in A2. Though this block is quiet, you get good noise from L1 opposite and the away fans next to them. I'm about level with the goal area, a good view IMO.
Magictv Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I would recommend c2 if i were you and after cheapish tickets. It's not completely dead and tbh you could just go sit wherever you like up the west/south stand once you're in anyway.
MattPanda3 Posted 7 February 2012 Author Posted 7 February 2012 Boooooooo Ha! Didnt see that one coming! I use to live in farnborough you see but have recently located up here! I will be seeing my beloved shots play at northampton in march on a rare weekend of work!

Corky Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 C2 would be the best place to sit out of those blocks.
He's not bald Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Thanks for the advice, i didnt see that image on the website! should pay closer antention! Anywhere in C block come Saturday and you'll be pretty much be able to choose where you sit, it's not going to be full that's for sure!
Saxondale Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I was hoping to get quite a low seat, thanks for the advice, ive just notice your location is shepshed which is where i live! Good man! How did you end up here?
Libertine Dream Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 ahh aldershot, like them had a decent fm save on fm10 with them

I will be seeing my beloved shots play at northampton in march on a rare weekend of work! We should swap towns so we're closer to our supported football teams . I saw Aldershot play a couple of years ago when they played Basingstoke in round 2 of the FA Cup at the rec. Was a good game.

MattPanda3 Posted 7 February 2012 Author Posted 7 February 2012 ahh aldershot, like them had a decent fm save on fm10 with them Ha! Its always good to hear people doing fm saves with your team just to let ya know i did one with lcfc on 11 and got them to champions league

Yes makes sense really :L Yeah i remember the game also! we do know how to create an atmosphere when we want to!
Libertine Dream Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 Ha! Its always good to hear people doing fm saves with your team just to let ya know i did one with lcfc on 11 and got them to champions league After 7 seasons I finished 9th in prem with you and won Fa Cup beating Utd in the final. It wqs a great save just because I was bottom of L1 1/2/3 games fron the sack and suddenly it clicked, finished 6th on GD and won play offs, hardest season on FM ever. As for Saturday, no matter where you sit you'll hear our new most sung chant, 'we always get **** refs'. (although we do have Halsey on Saturday so it may be a refreshing change)

Halsey is normal a good ref so lets hope he lives up to his name!
MattPanda3 Posted 7 February 2012 Author Posted 7 February 2012 I'd opt for A2 of those choices. thats where I think I might go,thanks for the input
Simmo86 Posted 7 February 2012 Posted 7 February 2012 I'd go for A aswell, you'll able to watch the football and if thats boring listen to the banter between the 2 sets of fans!
Lancsfox Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 For netural read neutral, wherever you sit enjoy the game,
