HEGGSY Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 How are all these pubs able to show the game?? Through a live stream and then they'll link it up through a projector I'd imagine
Trav Le Bleu Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Hmmmmm INTERESTING! I doubt my husband will allow me to come (well, he doesn't stop me doing anything - but the moaning and guilt trip is enough to put anyone off going out) but hopefully this'll mean I can pick up a stream online!
Rich Fox Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Being shown in The Clock pub in Atherstone and as richfox said above, also White Lion a.k.a Sweeties Asked today in sweeties and he will put it on telly near window which is good picture, got new beer in purity so I will be in there. There is another game on so may not be on big telly in Clock.

adam1 Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 How are all these pubs able to show the game?? Shown on a foreign tv station, usually Greek. The pubs have a satellite decoder. Easy. See news piece here

It's not on TV pal, its on a stream so most pubs are showing it through a stream if you have internet access(which you obviously do) in Barcelona then you can watch it
blueharmie Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 surely you mean its on forigein tv not a stream. how can they put a stream on , half the time they lag and are crap. no way id use a stream to a pub full of people.
deep blue Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Right for Manchester people The Courtyard is just off Oxford Road on Chester Street. Go to where the BBC used to be on Oxford Road and take the road opposite it. There is a bar called Odder on the corner so you’ll know if that is the right one. On your left there will be an MMU building and a bunch of restaurants (Nando’s, Rice) on your right. Keep walking down and The Courtyard is on your right hand side next to a newsagents. Was once in there during an epic riot during a Chelsea v Man U game but it is in no way a rough bar being in the middle of studentsville! Mancunian, Ric - I don't want to come in from Stockport unless I can be guaranteed it will be on, and for the whole game. I've tried to ring the pub (236 1400) but am only getting a fax m/c. Do either of you happen to have their phone number? Thanks. Up the Foxes!

You are right I forgot that most pubs use those decoders to show foreign tv over here now.
