The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Can someone please help me, going to the Chelsea game tomorrow via fox travel but I need to drive down to the ground first so is there any chance I will be able to leave my car at the ground? Just park in that estate on the opposite side to the river near the boating lake Anyone got balloons? Ticker tape? Flags? Beach balls? I'm taking some bog roll (to throw) Anyone else got butterflies?
HEGGSY Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Anyone got balloons? Ticker tape? Flags? Beach balls? Absolutely buzzing for tomorrow now.
Matt Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Oyster Card question, Just checked my account to see how much i've got on my card, £5.30 - Is that going to get me very far or will I need to top it up?
HEGGSY Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Been on one of the Chelsea forums and a lot of people picking this team or similar. Not a prob... we can take them. Few comments from them too. "I want changes like most of you, but we can't take Leicester too lightly" "Got a feeling Beckford's gonna pop up with a goal tomorrow. Ex-Chelsea youngster so something to prove maybe"? "Treat Leicester with respect". "Actually you know what upon further inspection I'm not 100% sure this CAN beat Leicester". (this in response to his own team line up he chose". Cech Bosingwa - Cahill - Terry - Bertrand Mikel - Meireles Studge - Mata - Malouda Torres At least their not all big headed twats, eh?

Depends where you're parking or which zones you're going through. Stanmore/canons park to Fulham Broadway would be about 8 quid
Matt Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Depends where you're parking or which zones you're going through. Stanmore/canons park to Fulham Broadway would be about 8 quid Euston to Fulham Broadway and back, although may go other places, doubt it but it's a possibility. (If I do go other places no doubt I would have to top up) (Just posted in the London Foxes thread aswell, didn't realise you'd replied in here) Also I need to check my train ticket, in the past I know I have had the tubes covered in the price with my train ticket so this might be the case again if so no need for my Oyster Card.
HEGGSY Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Can't find my birth certificate Chances of being asked for ID?
Kitchandro Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Can't find my birth certificate Chances of being asked for ID? You shouldn't be expected to carry birth certificates around with you. Just tell them that. They can't be asking everyone who's over 65 or under 17 for id surely?
HEGGSY Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012
You shouldn't be expected to carry birth certificates around with you. Just tell them that. They can't be asking everyone who's over 65 or under 17 for id surely? That's what I thought. My main worry for tomorrow is that my mate is actually 17, but has a concessions ticket.
davieG Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Can't find my birth certificate Chances of being asked for ID? I got accused by a female steward of being too young at Cov, as nice as that was I fortunately had my bus pass on me so avoided a big argument. Not that it works for over 65 concessions.
Kitchandro Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012
That's what I thought. My main worry for tomorrow is that my mate is actually 17, but has a concessions ticket. My mate is 20 and he's got a concessions ticket Luckily he's short

Euston is zone 1 and fulham broadway is zone 2 so wont cost too much
HEGGSY Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 My mate is 20 and he's got a concessions ticket Luckily he's short Fair enough, its just £15 is alot to pay for the difference, on top of the £15 for the ticket and £20 for the travel in the first place. Especially at our age.

ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 Fair enough. In that case, I highly doubt it. i think that too, their game has no links to ours.. but i can see the respectful side of it too
