JonnyBoy Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 for me... season over with regards to league. We are Leicester so if we beat Chelsea it wouldnt actually suprise me at all. When do tickets come on sale?
lestajigs Posted 7 March 2012 Author Posted 7 March 2012 Meaning cheap then?? If that word excists in west London!!
PutneyFox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Hi Lestajigs I live in Putney, for many years now (2 stops from Stamford Bridge on the tube) & I use a pub called the Fox @ the top of the High Street. Very much a football pub. All me Fulham footy mates frequent there & give a few Chelsea fans some light hearted stick!! Across the road from the Fox is a Wetherspoons called the Railway. Opens from 9am onwards. Further down the High Street towards Putney Bridge you have the Whistle & Flute. Walkabout. Slug & Lettuce. On Putney Bridge itself you have the Dukes Head. The Larrick & a few others. The latter 2 probably more Chelsea to be honest.
PutneyFox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 & would you believe it I forgot the Half Moon!! doh
BrummieFOX Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 is this likely to be 4 tickets per person? Can't wait for this game! Shame it's a Sunday but the last game at the Birdge was a cracker despite being mid-week. Should make a lot of noise in our end!
Jimothy Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 What I want to know is why FIVE past two?? Why not a 2 o'clock kick off!? What's with the extra 5 mins?? Not that it matters - just curious! It'll be down to TV. They'll probably be another tie on before it or ESPN will be showing another match from Germany or a Rugby Union match and will have delayed kick off just to fit 5 mins of build up in before the match starts.

Ah I see - makes sense! Thanks

It's on ESPN, they've showing Hearts v Hibs before which is a 12 kick off so it's to allow for both. Sadly it means we'll get all of 5 minutes build up before kick off. Even worse, my friggin' family have already booked a table for mothers day at what time? That's right, 2pm.

MrFox781 Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 So it will be a Train to st Pancrass and Tube to ??? How much will the tube cost anyone know ??? What Train will the Majority be catching any idea Watching a program on BBC the other day and looking at things the tube pricing is a fvcking joke.
NeilyBoy Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Watching a program on BBC the other day and looking at things the tube pricing is a fvcking joke. It's not great. If you reckon you'll be down in London again anytime in the future it's worth getting an oyster card - the deposit's £5 (which you get back if you ever return it) and you get charged a fair bit less for travelling: I think you only have to use it something like 4 or 5 times to make the deposit back in savings and from then on it's cheap(er) London travel!

Just about to say this.......well worth investing in an Oyster Card.
