Out Foxed Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 chelsea are buzzing of last nights win, hopefully it means they are taking their eye of the ball and overlooking us. it could make them kick on and smash us though. thankfully they went to extra time and play man city closely after us. let's hope we can upset them.

Brainy Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Maybe But you've all watched him for the last 2 years on Sky, we shouldn't be fearing him. I'm convinced he's completely gone and will never make it at Chelsea, if we defend properly he shouldn't cause us any problems Torres still has lots of quality on the ball, that was evident last night. He's just not scoring goals.
Kitchandro Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Torres still has lots of quality on the ball, that was evident last night. He's just not scoring goals. Sure, but he still has games where he's completely useless, against Birmingham for example. Whenever he gets near the box he seems to freeze.
LanguedocFox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I can't find an answer to this anywhere, but will there be a replay if it is a draw on Sunday?
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I can't find an answer to this anywhere, but will there be a replay if it is a draw on Sunday? Certainly will.........at the KP would you believe ?
HEGGSY Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I can't find an answer to this anywhere, but will there be a replay if it is a draw on Sunday? Yes.
LanguedocFox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Thanks, I guessed as much. Would be just my sodding luck for us to get a draw and win at Filbo! At the moment, Ryanair tickets from southern France to London are fairly cheap. If I have to wait until the end of March, they will probably double. But if we beat the bastards, I'll be there!
StanSP Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I saw a tweet earlier today, can't remember who from, that said the FA and PL are really hoping this doesn't go to a replay so they can avoid fixture congestion. They'll struggle for a date for both teams if a replay is needed what with us playing Blackpool next Wednesday as well as Chelsea playing Man City, and with all our other mid-week games.

So what you're saying is we're going to be fixed out of it again?
StanSP Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 So what you're saying is we're going to be fixed out of it again? Haha. I didn't actually mean for it to sound like that, but at least we have 1 excuse in the bag .
Kitchandro Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Haha. I didn't actually mean for it to sound like that, but at least we have 1 excuse in the bag . We joke, but it's a serious possibility knowing us

1964FOX Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 So what you're saying is we're going to be fixed out of it again? So the FA will have a word with the ref and tell him to give every decision against us. If he complains it's unfair they will say don't worry they're used to it.
Happy Fox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Martin Lipton @MartinLipton Reply Retweet Favorite · Open FA and PL need a winner from #cfc v #lcfc on Sunday or fixture chaos. Only realistic replay date is Weds, when #cfc at #mcfc! Would be interesting if this happens. But we are going to win at the Bridge so it won't come to that.

We're also at Blackpool on Wednesday, so its even less convenient.
Ric Flair Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Has any team ever played twice in a day? That would be brilliant.

StanSP Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Has any team ever played twice in a day? That would be brilliant. Yes, Usually happens a lot with us, actually. Sometimes we'll get one team first half, and a totally different team in the second half!
Happy Fox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 We're also at Blackpool on Wednesday, so its even less convenient. http://www.mirrorfoo...icle878794.html If they have to play their European first leg on Tuesday March 27 - Friday's Champions League draw will determine the date of the games - then the trip to the King Power Stadium would come 48 hours later, in a week topped and tailed by Saturday Premier League games against Tottenham and Aston Villa. However, if the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final is on Tuesday April 3, the Leicester replay would come two days later
