The Year Of The Fox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Many away fan pubs in near Fulham Broadway tube station? We were around Kilburn last time. Don't know what others have found, but we've only found one pub we visit regularly that will be serving beer from 10am. It's called the Nags Head. Turn right out the underground barriers at Covent Garden and its about 50 yards down the road on the left. Most pubs we've rang and asked about don't open til 12 (even the weatherspoons at Leicester square)
Socks Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 you watch, Torres to end his dry run against us in style and get 2 or 3 im saying 4-1 to Chelsea
Jakemoore Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 After last nights performance I reckon they'll brush us aside if AVB was still in charge then I'd have been more confident because they probably wouldn't have won last night and the confidence in their camp would have been extremely low; however, they looked like a team out there yesterday and if they continue that against us I reckon we'll leave defeated
leicesterisme Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Just got a feeling that Torres is going to get a hatrick on Sunday!
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 You just know that Torres HAS to come good at some point. However, last night was a long game and must have taken something out of them. Which gives us a bit more of a chance.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Torres is no match for Big Wes Morgan and my lucky shirt Keep the faith! We deserve a miracle this season
BrumFox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I also have a sneaky feeling about Torres. Dunno if anyone has mentioned it but in that 4-3 Carling Cup game a few years ago it was Shevchenko who came on and put 2 past us and he was a massive flop for Chelski. Got to say, think Torres will do it to us.

Yeah I guess, but Torres has to come good as some point, surely!? I'm a student, live in Selly Oak at the moment, you?
Basingstoke Fox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Shevchenko put one past us. (What a bloody goal it was though). Lampard had a hat trick that night. However, I'm expecting Torres to score at least one goal. I think we're going to need to be able to score at least 2 goals at Stamford Bridge to be able to stay in the hat on Sunday. There's no reason we can't win the game back at our place!
PutneyFox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Many away fan pubs in near Fulham Broadway tube station? I live In Putney, near Putney Bridge Tube (2 stops from Fulham Broadway) & I use a sports bar aptly called the Fox on Putney High Street. I am a Leicester fan & will be having a bit of "banter" with the local Chelsea fans. Luckily I know em all!! . Opens @ 11:00 on a Sunday but am gonna try & sweet talk Lee the Guvnor into opening a tad early as he opens @ 9:00 every other day.
Captain... Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I heard Frank Lampard's interview on the radio this morning, didn't mention the cup just kept banging on about the Champions League and the Premeir League. This is clearly third on their priority list, so hopefully they will play a weakened team after a hard game against Napoli, it will still be a side full of internationals though. I also have this fear of Torres doing to us what Beckford did to Forest, he has been truly woeful and you can see his confidence is non existent, the way he refused the penno at Stoke, but he is still a class player who used to terrorise Man U every time he played against them.
Kitchandro Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Chill out people, Torres is the least of our worries. I hope he plays.
Master Fox Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/4196660/Chelsea-aces-hit-the-town-after-4-1-win.html Night out on the piss after the game yesterday. They won't be celebrating on Sunday after Nugent bags a hat trick to dump them out of the cup. w#ankers

Kitchandro Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 This could be a quote that goes badly wrong Maybe But you've all watched him for the last 2 years on Sky, we shouldn't be fearing him. I'm convinced he's completely gone and will never make it at Chelsea, if we defend properly he shouldn't cause us any problems
Leicester_Loyal Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Which National Express stop or train station am I best stopping at? And from that stop which tube should I get, one that leads to Fulham Broadway right? Never been London before and FoxTravel hasn't got any spaces left. Thanks for the help.

No idea about the bus but if it goes to Victoria that's your best bet. you can then get District Line tube to either Fulham Broadway or Earls Court. Fulham Broadway gets rammed on match days and Earls Courts about a 10min walk to SB

Mate if you are getting National Express this brings you into Victoria. You then need to take the tube, District Line Westbound (Wimbledon train) that takes you into Fulham Broadway. If you are getting the train this brings you into St Pancras. From there take the tube, Victoria Line Southbound to Victoria then change to the aformentioned District Line. I am a Leicester fan living in Putney myself which is 2 stops from Fulham Broadway. Good luck mate!
Leicester_Loyal Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 I'm going to get the coach to Victoria Coach Station, then tube it to the ground. Sounds simple enough... Cheers for your help lads.

In that case when you leave Victoria Station you need to head for the main train station which is about a 5 minute walk down Buckingham Palace Road. Cut all the way through the station & the tube is on the far side. Near WHSmiths.
worthosoriginals Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 torres been shyte for around 2 years now, i expect more of the same sunday.
kyle09uk Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Knowing our luck Torres will get on the Score sheet. Fingers crossed he don't!!
