Season Tickets 2012-2013

You don't realise what you've got until you no longer have it! I moved down south in 2010 and haven't been able to have a season ticket since! It's been horrible! I'd do anything to be able to afford it all and to move back up to Leicester! I've got another year until its possible, I'd think carefully if you're thinking about not renewing your season ticket you may live to regret it!

Personally I will go until my dying day....Saturday 3pm and down the KP for me..its in the blood.

Tho we have trying times I will still go, even if we get hammered..yeah I might moan for a bit after but ffs its not the end of the world.

If you support a club that much you'd try and put up with the sh*t.

It's nothing to do with trying to stick through it. It's to do with keeping a roof over my head being more important than a ST

I can understand if ppl cant afford it etc..personally I'd rather spend the money going to watch City than say going out on the lash,

Though I agree with you on that. Can't remember the last time I went on the piss on a friday or saturday night. apart from Xmas eve it may have been July

I can believe that, even after this season I'm still looking forward to the next match. After a week of work I can't wait to do something that actually interests me. If I stopped going I wouldn't know what to do with myself. And I hate listening to it on the radio, makes me too nervous.

Yes, if I had the chance of a season ticket I would take it and I'd never even think about not renewing it as long as I can afford it! I can't even listen to it on the radio because I live outside the midlands! It's a disaster for me!

No disrespect but Ive had 30 years of watching LCFC and atmosphere is half the experience for me, ive gone from standing in SK2/SK3 being lifted off my feet, kicking every ball, adrenalin pumping to a soul-less bowl where the "teams gather in the tunnel" where ****** need goal music and the general atmosphere is on par with a ****ing coldplay gig.

I lived in London for 5 years, and it was beans on toast for tea every night so I could travel up and watch the wonderful team that MON created, you felt part of something special, Football is on its arse, it wont be the fans that live to regret it, its the likes of Rangers, Pompey, Vale and god knows how many others who will hit the buffers unless they get a grip.

i totally understand where your coming from on that, seems to me the rich are getting forever richer & poor even poorer..even in these crap financial times.

Unfortunately I'm still in full time education and my parents arent lcfc fans, I have a job which is getting me to every away game in and around London!

I haven't been the past few seasons I don't know what the atmosphere is like but it was poor when I went to watch them and it didn't make a difference as long as I could see them play!

Well put Sir,

It is wank! Unless i win a bet within the next month I wont get one. It'll kill me, but I don't know anyone who hadn't had to make sacrifices after buying a place

I've never understood why people call our stadium a 'bowl'. Bowls are generally round. It's no more a bowl than Elland Road or Old Trafford (which used to look very similar to ours, see early 90s)

Whether it's soulless or not is another matter, personally I always though the fans were the club's soul. Yeh our stadium could definitely be designed better but many old stadiums have no noise in them.

****** don't need goal music anyway, that's just what the club thinks.

Yeah I see your point, 100 odd miles away I suppose its that feeling of detachment, I think had you experienced Filbert St you would see a massive difference! think also that years ago you felt part of it, now the club does more than ever to try and make you feel part of it but majority of fans see through it as a marketing exercise or just a general resentment towards whats become a shit matchday experience!

I did all the London grounds, lived in Streatham and it was when Wimbledon played at Palace too so it was great.

Hit the nail on the head that is exactly how I feel! Had I not had exams on Monday i'd have been at that reading game! I'm trying to get through London but I see a few Charlton games but it isn't the same! But next year I'll be back, fingers crossed!

You use the phrase 'unfortunately I'm still in full time education!' to me this means your St would only be about £160? A lot of the moaning is by people who are paying over double that, including me, I very much doubt I will renew.

No i understand people can't afford it in justifying why I can't get one £160 sounds okay but when it costs £70 just to get to every game it's just too much!

Yep, I had the same problem, travelling midweek on peak times to get to games from Kings Cross, then its travelcards/oyster cards on top, season ticket £160 but travel will run to ten times that, fair more cost effective to stay in or around London and watch us at Palace, Hammers, Watford. I joined up with the London supporters club, not sure if those guys still buy up group tickets but it was the only way I could afford it. I paid £429 this season and I do a 50 mile round trip which is now costing me about £12 a game due to the fuel increase, its another £250+ a season on top of the ticket so im upto 700. can't justify the expense.

Wasn't have a go at yourself or students in general, just saying a lot of the people who are considering packing in are paying an awful lot of money in these troubled times. Sorry if it seemed personnel!

Ah yeah! It costs me £35 just to get to London in itself even though it's only 40 minutes on the train pretty annoying! Train prices are just too high!

Oh no it's okay! I was aiming my post at the people who are fed up of no success etc!

Watch a stream then... Or but the lcfc website subscription and listen.

I have the subscription but it hardly ever works for me and I watch as many streams when I can but it's not the same!
