Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Gee, thanks 'Webbo' for your pic? Good to see you engaging in conversation rather than posting a cheap shot? lol
Out Foxed Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 No, I'd rather hear him say something worth hearing instead of the media friendly guff they are taught to say. and risk getting in trouble with his bosses and potentially being fined or lose his place?
THEFATBASTARD Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Danns on Twitter."Not once did I criticise the fans today, I have nothin but compliments , I compared situation of clubs, some just said that I critisised the fans on the message boards, can some one explain that I never said anythin of the sort on there, thank you for the support #lcfc". Make of this what you will. Seems clear that he (and prob others) read posts on here. I personally think that after a slow start he has been one of our more consistent performers in recent weeks. he like the rest of the squad should of mentioned patience at the start of the season ,the owners don't do patience just big wages..he opted for big wages. rather than a long term plan elsewhere. its an excuse, he knows it and we know it..

Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 and risk getting in trouble with his bosses and potentially being fined or lose his place? Then there is literally no point in him making a pre set speech which says only what you expect it to say. I prefer Niges off the cuff honesty and passion. It's sooo much more real
THEFATBASTARD Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Leicester fans in over reaction to a nothing comment shocker. your right.. nothing today..zip. an apology would of been nice.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Leicester fans in over reaction to a nothing comment shocker. Babs in a typically glib little one liner shocker....
Babylon Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 your right.. nothing today..zip. an apology would of been nice. An apology for losing a game of football, away from home, to a better team than us? Has everyone become so soft skinned to bad results we need constant apologies and begs of forgiveness from anyone interviewed? If they did that after ever game you'd all be on here moaning at them about the apologies meaning nothing because it's the "same old stuff trotted out".

Kitchandro Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Leicester fans in over reaction to a nothing comment shocker. It's not one comment, it's the attitude in interview after interview. Sure he didn't criticise the fans today as such, but I know he did earlier in the season, and that sets the tone I'm afraid. It's not just him either, it's almost every players interview. You listen to some players/managers and believe that they feel ashamed or angry, I don't get that impression with these players. I'd say I want them to be more open and honest, but actually, I get the feeling that they actually feel the fans, and the pressure, are a burden.

But at this stage in the season after a whole host of unacceptable performances, and we're in an unacceptable league posiiton. And today we were beaten out of side, by Reading FFS. WHY do they have a better team than us? They shouldn't have. I can't remember one match where they've actually accepted it's not good enough or offered a genuine apology to the fans. I do remember plenty of digs though, from numerous players.
Libertine Dream Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Just walked in from the game so haven't heard this interview but I wouldn't put Danns in the bracket of 'couldn't care less', one of few players who tried today and didn't have a bad game. He's showing Sven why he should have been played CM from the start as he works hard and is playing well now he's in his right position. Doubt he criticised the fans at all, he acknowledged us today and always seems to praise fans. As I say not heard the interview or seen his tweets.

Go out, have a drink, hug a loved one, listen to good music, eat good food, don't worry about what some bloke who kicks a ball about says or doesn't say.

I blame Diana, perhaps the club you send every fan a bunch of flowers after a defeat

Well yeh, I can do those things, but I can do them after every defeat as well. Doesn't mean I'm not annoyed about them immediately after.
ChampionFox50 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 The sooner we get a squad of players focussed on there performance and who care about LCFC rather then planning end of season trips to Las Vegas and promoting Splitter in the most imprortant part of the season we may have a chance of going up alot of those players are not fit to wear the shirt worst example of players attitude I have seen in over 30 years of supporting our club. Keep the faith Pearson will sort it out
Libertine Dream Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 clapping the fans....just PR. Well of course it is, but at least he does it, you get a lot of players that don't, or half heartedly do it.

Bettsj2 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Neil Danns attitude is probably one of the best at the club. Always gives his all, always thanks the fans on the pitch after a game and on twitter. When he wasnt in the team he didnt cry about it, just put his head down and played in whatever position he was asked to to try and get a regular place. Neil Danns should not be critisised for saying that patience is needed. He is completely right. Comparing us to Man City was not the right thing to say but try and see through that and you'll see he is talking sense. Some people on here are talking about sacking Pearson. He's not even been here for a full season. I wonder if these were the same people that critisised Mandric for the managerial merry go round. Patience people. It's the one thing that is completely lacking in the modern game and is the one thing that is ruining the modern game. If we stick with NP, this time next season, we'll be comfortable in the top 6 and maybe even in the top 2. Even though Danns wasnt actually critisising the fans, fans should realise that they are not above critisism.
THEFATBASTARD Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Oh good God some of you are so stupid. better than being arrogant..
speedwayson Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 just look at it we could of brought torris and carrol and then we would have the most expensive team of losers all we have to do is get rid of a few then we could get back on track weve had ups and downs if we are on a down then we can only go up next season
