Neil Danns and Man City

But Man City showed signs of success.

We're showing signs of absolute nothingness, and have done for 18 months.

I'm absolutely sick of it.

What, the Man City fans who saw their team go to 5th, then 3rd, and now 1st, with a trophy thrown in?

Compared to ours, who've gone from 5th, to 10th, and now 12th?

I can't see why we'd be more impatient than them.

Man City got a Europa League spot, top six of the Premier League then a season later, they are currently top of the Prem.

We are mid table of the Championship, and are getting beat by teams in the relegation zone.

They say never go back, and frankly that's beginning to be the case with Pearson, I don't want to moan but I can't help having doubts about him being appointed again and if it was the right move.

We are simply no good, we could be patient for a whole month and still stay in a mid table place, then by that time more and more fans will want the manager out.

Try telling the fans that pay over the odds for tickets every week and the Thai's that!

I have only missed tdays game due to illness, been to everyone.. I pay my money and take my chance, dont go if you dont like it.... Danns wasnt slaging the fans at all, he was saying that success isnt overnight and we should be mindfull of that... Man City in terms of players had a far better base than what we started with..

excuse cupboard is bare...stop trying to blame the fans...mr, danns.. it NEVER seems to be these big time charlies fault..

Yep.

He needs to shut his trap and hold his hands up. Their attitude has been pathetic all season.

After 3 games Mills was having a dig at the fans. Then Wellens. Then someone else.

Us, as fans, should be anlysing ourselves and whether we are being patient enough, loud enough, loyal enough, etc.

The players have no right to make comments about us other than positive ones. Why? Because they are paid and we pay.

Excuses have been coming out from minute one. Just shut the fvck up and get on with it. They've let the club down all season and it's not on that they don't see that.

We have a cracking fan base that has been loyal through this shitty decade. If they could actually think like fans maybe they'd understand how we feel and what we've been through. But they don't, they live in a dreamworld.

This. Exactly this.

At least City fans could see some progress and generally the players that came in improved the team. Is Mills really any better than Hobbs? Is Beckford any better than Fry-up?

It must be lovely to be him. Not only does he get paid to play football, but he's also afforded the luxury of being able to publicly criticise the customores of his company. I suppose he's always got his music, fashion and technology career to fall back on.

All complaints aside, good midfielder!

If the whole team put as much effort in as danns does to his spitter app we would probably be further up the league. Team is not good enough.

FFS he wasn't criticising the fans. Stop being babies.

It wasn't so much criticism but saying what he expects of us. He was desperately trying to shift the attention away from himself and the team. The tone has been the same all season. He was another one who was making comments about us early on, in the mercury I believe.

He's already thinking of next season. 'Don't give us stick, so what if we've failed this season, there's always next season.'

The interview certainly wasn't as apologetic as it should have been.

I've said this many times but I am happy to repeat it.

I can stand seeing us lose, I'm a City fan and used to it..... :giggle:

What I can't stand is seeing us fail to complete, far too many games this season we have looked like we cant be arsed.

Simple as that.....

Realistically what do you expect him to say? When you are being interviewed nothing is not an option. Do you want him to publicly criticise the manager, his team mates the owners? Do you want him to say don't bother buying anymore tickets because we're shit?

Criticise the performance by all means but making a big deal about a comment half of you didn't even hear is pathetic.
