Neil Danns and Man City

Recommended Posts

Neil Danns attitude is probably one of the best at the club. Always gives his all, always thanks the fans on the pitch after a game and on twitter. When he wasnt in the team he didnt cry about it, just put his head down and played in whatever position he was asked to to try and get a regular place.

Neil Danns should not be critisised for saying that patience is needed. He is completely right. Comparing us to Man City was not the right thing to say but try and see through that and you'll see he is talking sense.

Some people on here are talking about sacking Pearson. He's not even been here for a full season. I wonder if these were the same people that critisised Mandric for the managerial merry go round.

Patience people. It's the one thing that is completely lacking in the modern game and is the one thing that is ruining the modern game. If we stick with NP, this time next season, we'll be comfortable in the top 6 and maybe even in the top 2.

Even though Danns wasnt actually critisising the fans, fans should realise that they are not above critisism.

This is not about the fans we have supported the team weeke in week out the issue is we have spent over £12m pounds for a squad of players who are going through the motions in big games to Alan Youngs comment - Players drive and ambition dulled by by the money simple as

Thats a minimum requirment from a player for me, shouldn't get praised for it....its funny how patience becomes a virtue when your season is a total flop.no mention of a very long haul when he signed on for big bucks..but i suppose the fans are being greedy expecting better than twelth...but what do we know..

No they aren't, sometimes we deserve criticising.

Not from players.

They don't have the right to expect anything from us. Any support they get should be a bonus. We are not obliged to go and pay money and watch them every week, and in doing so making football the massive business that it is, contributing to the inflated wages most of them are on.

They are lucky to have us. Even Coventry City are lucky to have that small amount of fans.

They need to think where they'd be without us.

Leicester fans in over reaction to a nothing comment shocker.

Yep.

This thread is the sound of reality popping unrealistic dreams. And the plopping sound of semi-melted ignorance dripping off the spoon onto the floor of shame. And the, and the, and the... no, I'm all out of crap analogies.

Danns has cleared up his comments so there is no issue. He gives his all every game, i wont be calling his attitude in to question. His play in the first half of the season perhaps? But he has been great lately. Lay off him.

But Man City showed signs of success.

We're showing signs of absolute nothingness, and have done for 18 months.

I'm absolutely sick of it.

actually they did not do anything for 3 years

Totally agree with your comments about Danns, one of our best players without question.

Some of the posts on here questioning his ability and suggesting his other interests are more important to him are ****ing embarrasing.

Even the Reading fans would like him in their team doesn't that tell you something!

Neil mentioned that Man city fans gave their team patience.. And quite frankly he is talking sense, we should be doing the same...

Neil Danns can fu ck off.

Considering that the fans were pretty much accused of delusions of grandeur, to have a player come out and compare the team to Man City is ludicrous.

I just can't believe the guff they come out with. They are paid to play football - and paid very handsomely to do so. They are not paid to moralise to the football supporters who pay their wages.

Danns is in the press every other day with some guff about his football, his music, his tarts or other side projects.

Think I would have more patience if we were playing in the Premiership and unlimited cash at our disposal. Stupid comparison Danns but then again your not very bright are you.

This... Concentrate on your fookin football son...

You've got better yes but there's still big room for improvement.

And if you speak 'on air' again, at least give us your own view rather than some rehearsed drivel.

Id respect you more if you did that.
