lestajigs Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 and on a second note think we will go for east stand lower as its a "family stand" so less chance of any trouble. Ok pc plod
brisfox Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 I went to the boxing day game in the 1970's that the song "hark now hear the Leicester sing, the Chelsea ran away" came from. There were about 200 Chelsea that got into the away fans and started a massive fight. At the time I was sitting in the home fans, trying to keep my mouth shut. What happened when the Chelsea fans got kicked out? You've guessed it. They came and sat right next to me! Luckily, I lived to tell the tale. If memory serves me right, I think we lost the game as well
Zingari Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 I'm going to sit in the shed been thrown out by the missus again daggers ?
dannythefox Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 I used to drink with an ex head hunter he said when the fixtures came out the first they looked for was us. They put us above wet spam. They used to fill pen 1 and half the east stand I guess 4k and 99% of them came to fight. You make me feel so much better for going in the east stand!
Karljohn Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 They dont really like us, "we all follow the chelsea over land and sea. . and leicester" they sing, its a reference to our multicultural city I believe, I've seen them hitting women and kids on Filbert St, wasnt there a massive smoke bomb hurled into pen 3 in the early 80s on a friday night? also remember the day we beat them 2-0 at Filbert St, day of hillsborough disaster, they brought 10k and were unbeaten in 30 games, they fought with our fans upstairs in the DD and cheered at half time when the news broke that there were casualties at Hillsboro. Nasty lot.
wellyfox Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 You make me feel so much better for going in the east stand! Sorry but this ain't notts county away would you go and sit in the Millwall end. LCFC Chelski has always been big trouble more so than the trees the sheep n covscum.
z-layrex Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 Not going as I couldn't get away tickets. Not sitting in home end as I refuse to look like i'm a Chelsea fan!

Till you buy a cup of tea at ht and the w4nker behind you in the queue tells everyone your not from landun I'm sure they will be people just watching the game that don't really support Chelsea and are visiting London for the weekend. Imo if you don't acted like a **** you should be fine?

Imo if you don't acted like a **** you should be fine? Times have changed so you should be fine if you don't take the piss. Fook me, I wouldn't have said that 20 years ago!
dannythefox Posted 12 March 2012 Posted 12 March 2012 Times have changed so you should be fine if you don't take the piss. Fook me, I wouldn't have said that 20 years ago! I completely agree it was very bad 20years ago but like you say times have changed. To be fair I'm going whatever I love Leicester and there worth the risk!
