play mills and bamba together for the last six games

Disagree davie.

Bamba is probably better than Mills and Morgan.

Maybe so but watching Bamba in central defense isn't good for any Leicester fans health!!

I despair, I think every centre back we have has been slagged off in this thread, I am beginning to wonder if it is not our players that are shit, but our fans just know fvck all about football, but that can't be true, it's not like these players are internationals or have previously been successful at this level, no it must be that they are all shit and everyone of our fans are experts.

Anyway, getting back to the point, for the last 6 games of the season we should be playing 2 centrebacks that are definitely going to be at our club next season, because they need to play with each other game after game, know each other's games inside out, that is how you form partnerships. I will leave Pearson to choose which 2 they are.

What a pointless thread. Have you been paying attention? Mills is as good as gone.

Reasons Mills shouldn't be picked again this season:

  • He's a t w a t.
  • We'd risk him getting injured, making him impossible to sell on, which is what we will be doing.
  • He'd be taking up a place in the starting XI that could be given to a player who will be here next season.
  • He doesn't deserve to wear a Leicester shirt.
  • There's that rumoured appearances clause that will waste even more of the club's money.

Reasons Mills should be picked again this season:

  • Maybe try to convince some rich gullible idiot at another club that he's earned his place back and is actually a model professional, a thoroughly nice chap, who definitely does not have an attitude problem and is worth about £5m?

Don't need a source, Pearson will have to be very desperate to start him, rumours are we have to pay more money when he plays 2 more games, does anyone want that to happen?

It really depends on whether or not the club choose to keep him. You could be right though, if what you say above is true.

, and what does Morgan do any different distribution wise?

I think a lot of people put blinkered views on how good mills was due to his price tag.

his distribution was worse than anyone we have had in a long while. even hobbs

people say he's got a good diagonal ball, but it was unbelievably frustrating watching him try and play football.

and its not even like he was a no nonsense defender. he lost more headers than i care to mention. fuctas at portsmouth took the piss out of him and he's hardly started a game since. both goals against barnsley was his fault, and he had two needless sending off for us. as a captain its unforgivable, he offered no apology and has lost at least 6 points this season through his mistakes or shite passes. the difference between where we are now, and promotion,

as much as peterborough was shite, for me, morgan's distribution wise was almost the best thing about it, there were several times where he found marshals or drinkwaters feet in midfield quickly, and they both struggled to turn it into anything special. his distribution on the day was a hell of a lot better than st ledger who looked dodgy a lot of the time.

bamba is a top class defender and in my opinion would be better in the prem when he has more time on the ball to try his crazy stuff. but he's an awful centre midfielder. he doesn't move to receive the ball. he does his bit and then walks in to position and even then he struggles to pick the correct pass. in the two games I've seen 5 passes that could of led to goals if not for his crazy long legs or good defensive cover. you can tell that pearson has told him to not do to much, he seems to have a line that he is not allowed to cross. either way you can see drinkwater is scared to do too much in case bamba goes off on one

All of the 4 defenders are good enough for this league, its just we're bad as a unit!

Chester/Hobbs at Hull have played together ALL season near enough and they have been very solid yet neither player is any better than what we have individual wise.

Its about consistency which is our downfall and has been all season too. Morgan/Mills/St Ledger have all done well previously at this level and Bamba is a quality international so personnel defo isnt the issue.

Really?? Watch again and tell me where Peltier is for those two goals.

100% true. I agree with this, the fans don't slag of just the centre backs but that striker as well (I dread to say his name ). He's like Voldemort, he can't be named .

I personally wouldn't mind Mills and Bamba at centre back, if it did happen I would be surprised seen as Millsy has been left out for the past X amount of games!

I'm amazed that anyone could even consider wanting Matt Mills back in the team.

He was pretty shit anyway, seems to have the attitude of a child and I think he should just go.

Let's look forward people.

agreed, Mills is no better than Morgan? In fact, Mills is better. People have taken a dislike to Mills cause of what they've heard, Pearson has not actually said anything. As Pearson said "I'll choose the team I think is best to play" I believe he said after the Derby game? We only have 5 substitutes to make too, which puts more pressure on Pearson. If we had 7, I'm sure Mills would feature more.

Saying that, I wonder if Pearson will look back at where he went wrong? Cause not playing Mills, IMO, is where he went wrong

Edit: I've said Pearson wayyyy to much

Far from play them both I'd be trying my best to sell them both ASAP. Mills appears to have burned his bridges, Bamba is not a Pearson type defender and we should be able to get a decent price rather than he walks away next summer for nothing.

From A good source... Matt Mills walked into the changing room on the first game of his ban and told the team that they were all shit and he is was the best player they had. NP said " You better **** off then and quick"....

If that's true, then :crylaugh: What a tw@ he is.

Matt Mills is more of a fullback (in the egg chasing sense of the word) than he is a CB. I'm sure either Morgan or St Ledger could kick to touch just as well as he can if they had the inclination.
