21st Century Fox Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 i know people say drink at london bridge blah blah blah but where will most of you be drinking any pubs that you know of? The Bushwackers are sending out their undercover scouts then.
Finnegan Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Ah, I see word has reached Milwall that we're noticeably high risk.
Voll Blau Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Can't go wrong around London Bridge, loads of decent boozers around there. Me and a mate were once threatened with arrest for the heinous crime of possessing Leicestershire accents "when there might be Millwall Yoof knockin' around" though. Nice to know whose side The Met are on.

Lived just up the road from surrey quays for a few months. Never saw such pitiful specimens in my life as those that hang around outside that big tesco! Me and mine will be in London Bridge.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 At London bridge there is a great old coaching in called the George Inn http://www.pubs.com/mobile/pub_details.php?pub_id=92 Just a few mins walk along borough high st away from the bridge, it's on the left hand side set back in a courtyard. It does proper hand pump beer too and I recommend it.
accessory Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Yeah, I've drank in there a couple of times (don't let that put you off though.. ). It's a tad expensive but does have a decent selection of ales.

iniesta Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 New Cross is alright, full of students. Not much of a walk either.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Too true, be careful Me thinks someone is living back in the 80s if suspicions true
Vale Blue Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 I drink in the Blind Beggar when I go, Whitechapel Road very near the Whitechapel tube stop. Then one stop on London Overground to Surrey Quays near ground.

We're up at Carlisle so don't have to worry about that Lived just up the road from surrey quays for a few months. Never saw such pitiful specimens in my life as those that hang around outside that big tesco! This is true. The homeless guy outside is well annoying and is there like 24hours a day I swear
Voll Blau Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 We're up at Carlisle so don't have to worry about that Yeah, I think everyone was genuinely bricking it about Charlton turning up.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Yeah, I think everyone was genuinely bricking it about Charlton turning up. Went to watch them play Preston earlier in the season with my Charlton mate. 4-0 up by half time and you still didn't hear a peep out of them!
Leicesterpool Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Like I suggested in another post what about the wetherspoons in Victoria station, because it's on the line to the new den. Come on let's make a lot of noice remember once when group of leicester fans were kicked out of the leicester square wetherspoons because they were signing. It was just harmless banter between some Barnsley fans that we outside. It was the palace away in August 2010.

The easiest bet to get to South Bermondsey is to go from London Bridge and not Victoria, as that'll take you 30mins instead of like 3mins from London Bridge..so more drinking time
CKB Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 i know people say drink at london bridge blah blah blah but where will most of you be drinking any pubs that you know of? Nowhere! you might catch something
