STUHILL Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Maybe tiatto could be planned for the LB position then!
STUHILL Posted 6 July 2005 Author Posted 6 July 2005 I think we need a LB, O'Brien and a Striker. 133032 Yeah that sounds good, think we are building a quality team here!
Babylon Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 I think we need a LB, O'Brien and a Striker. 133032 as long as we also get bara and Gerrbrand. We only have 2 CB's.
Hitesh Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Now we are getting some signings we need them to gel quickly and start playing with confidence for the full 90 minutes!
Babylon Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 I think Timpano is a left back. 133065 CB I believe?!?
Gené and Tonic Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Ah yes, sorry, just read your post in his thread. I was just going on what position he was in FM
Jonbluefox9 Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 We've got Dublin, Kisnorbo, Stearman, McCarthy, Nils-Eric and Heath that can play centre back at the moment. Levein has said he's looking to use Dublin as a striker and Kisnorbo as a holding midfielder so that leaves 4. Heath will be on his way shortly to be replaced by another centre back presumably. Probably someone who's preferred position is left back but can play in the middle too. It's all going to be about flexibility of playing positions this season.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Douglas Maybury McCarthy Johansson Tiatto Sylla Hughes Williams Wilcox Connolly De Vries/Dublin Not bad so far............with O'Brien, Bara, Gerrbrand (probable LB) and some strikers linked, it should look good on the horizon.
marko Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 i'm afraid gerrbrand transfer looks like it's stalled over the fee, so need to look for another LB
woznotwos Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 you missed kisnorbo in your starting line up!! cl is bound to use him in his 11 !!
STUHILL Posted 6 July 2005 Author Posted 6 July 2005 you missed kisnorbo in your starting line up!! cl is bound to use him in his 11 !! 133300 Why will he definately use him in his 11? Don't know much about him - is he any good? better than we already have? Still think Gerbrannd could sign if we up bid to 500k

Gené and Tonic Posted 7 July 2005 Posted 7 July 2005 He'll be in the squad. A defensive minded midfielder in order to provide cover for when Hughes or Williams go forward
LoneWolf Posted 7 July 2005 Posted 7 July 2005 i wouldnt play hughes n willaims together.. even thogh they are my 2 fav leicester players.... i still wouldnt... they are a mould of each other

Teeno Posted 7 July 2005 Posted 7 July 2005 I think Kisnorbo will be a deffinate starter most of the time next season, the reason for this is because he brought him in as the defencive midfielder of the team that will allow the other center midfielder to get foward and attack. That position will be filled by either Williams or Hughes so it is unlikely that they will feature together much.
Gené and Tonic Posted 7 July 2005 Posted 7 July 2005 unless he gets injured of course. Anyone think Joey will feature at all?
LoneWolf Posted 7 July 2005 Posted 7 July 2005 unless he gets injured of course. Anyone think Joey will feature at all? 134023 I like Joey i think he is good to have with either Huges or Williams, from what i have seen.. i havent really seen kisnobody play yet
Durnerz Posted 7 July 2005 Posted 7 July 2005 Unless Joey starts playing like he wants to wear the shirt I can't see him featuring at all next season and quite honestly im not bothered, especially if Kisnorbo lives up to expectation (Levein rates him highly). Nils eric Johansson is a superb capture, only 25 with sufficient Premiership experience on a free transfer, who could want more? We will need another left sided player though no doubt, Tiatto and Wilcox together will just not work.
LoneWolf Posted 7 July 2005 Posted 7 July 2005 wth Danny, you are garunteed 110%.. i am not to sure about wilcox but he says, ''i feel like i owe the club something'' they are strong words... i feel that he will be keen to impress next season.

The pressure may become too much and he wont perform to the expectation. Plus, levein will show too much faith in these players and still continue playing them. Its a bit like Taylor and Akinbyi. I do like Joey, and i think on his day he is a qulaity midfielder. However, he is inconsistent but if he gets some confidence and get a good run in the 1st team i reckon he can prove to CL that he is the man for the job. On the left, i def agree that Wilcox and Tiatto wont work. we need a LB, somelike Bara or Tampano. havent seen either play but if they are as good as some people have been saying then i can see us having a solid back line, something we failed on last year. we need to build confidence in the defence and this will form the foundations for the rest of the squad. it gives the midfield the re-assurance that the defence can do their job and then they can go attack. A good LB will also see a stregth of attakcing pressence on both the wings. Maybury is a great RB and him and Sylla can work well together.
