Just when you thought it couldn't get any more negative...

It's a little bit out of our hands though. I can barely raise a million myself

I'm astonished how casual some of our fans are over the debt we have accumulated under the Thai's. If we were in the German league we would struggle to get a license off the football authorities.

Like someone said earlier, the debt is 57 million ish, to people who our fans aren't even allowed to know who they are, 27million of this was scheduled to be paid back next season and we ran at a loss of 15million last year in accounts filed before the arrivals of Mills, Beckford etc.

I'm glad some can laugh about it. You might be looking pretty damn stupid come the end of next season.

But their is nowt we can do about it, we need promotion next season stating the pretty obvious and I seriously think we need to achieve that automatically, playoffs won't be good enough. Pressure is already on if NP before a ball is kicked, he couldn't get us into the playoffs this season so what reasons are their to suggest he could get us promoted automatically? genuine question I ask.

Has anyone got a source on the Thailand board? No? Ok

Has anyone got any leads on the Leicester city board? No? Ok

Has anyone got any sources on team staff and the back room? No? Ok

So basically this is all speculation which some negative people on here thrive on. It makes 0.0000 business sense for the Thais to leave now they will lose a lot of money they have INVESTED into the club and the ground and the training facilities etc etc etc. Plus the fact people on here are moaning that they might stop spending money isn't that what you want? Your saying we are in debt about to be left with our caps in hand i would think you would be happy if they are trying to make the money they have already spent go further or maximise some assets before pouring more money into this so called "debt ridden time bomb" Seriously some people on here are just trolls and you need to stop getting sucked in so easily. finally i go back to my previous point on the first page, Change doesn't have to be a bad thing hasn't it occurred to anyone but me that the way things are happening now the owners have learnt that you can't buy this league isn't that a good thing? In Pearson we have a man who will get the most out of the squad we have trim the fat and find some quality in these leagues and lower without breaking the bank, Yes we won't be linked with Beckham, Klose or Drogba but as i've said before i thought thats what you people would want? No high wages and some good quality worth while players? Look at the mess Sven left us with a convoluted player roster with pre Madonnas on rockstars wages and your wondering why the owners are holding the wallet firmly? We need to cut back and re evaluate our expenditure before adding more money in. Phew time for a tea i think

I suspect that the season ticket literature hasn't been issued because if we WERE to get in to the Premier League there would be a massive price hike, which although about as popular as Alan Davies is in Liverpool at the moment, would be vaguely justifiable in a way that it wouldn't be if we stayed down, so I imagine they have two pricing structures in mind and you can hardly publish both, can you?

Now we know where we'll be, expect to get your renewal invitation with its usual promises of astonishing value for money shortly

A very ineresting, tho very worrying read, i'd like to think the thai's would stick around, but the fact you don't see them at many games now is a def worry for me.

I'm hoping we do manage to trim the squad and the wage budget, cos not only did we pay way over the odds for some players, we then compounded the problem, by paying them way over the odds in wages too.

I also hope NP is given the time to bring in his own players and put his stamp on the squad properly, tho i feel he does need to learn from his mistakes of this season, and not rely on the so called old guard, some of whom are just past it, and some of whom, just can't cut it.

I like mattp am a little bemused about how lightheartedly alot of this is being taken, and i do foresee alot of big changes during the summer, and a club to come back to, when i renew my season ticket, well if they ever release the details, of course they could be holding off to then hit us with a major price hyke to pay off some of the debts, just a thought??? :sweating: :sweating:

We know it contains Vichai, Top and a group called Asia Sports Invesments.

That's simply not true, many businesses have close under serious investment after realising the likelihood is only going to be losing more, when discussing whether LCFC is going to be profitable, the money put in will be a small consideration if they feel they will be likely to lose an amount in the near future that they don't want to sustain, I have no idea where the logic comes from that investors will just blindly back a company because they have put previous capital into it.

57million racked up in 18 months running at a loss of 15million every 12 being paid at an 8% interest, what state does your company have to be before you thinkl it just might be a debt ridden time bomb? We are now in a position where we need 2-3 seasons of Premierhip football just to fund our debt.

I completely agree we shouldnt be spending money, I would even go as far as trying to lower our wages to 55-60% of turnover, I don't understand how you can agree on that but then also just say you want to ignore the accumulated debt??

Why would the the people concerned at the club's debt want to pay Beckham £200,000 a week?

Your post doesnt make any sense.

If anyone thinks the Thais will tolerate our abysmal season, then they are in for a rude awakening. Pearson was brought in to get us promoted THIS season. He has failed to deliver.

I believe the Thais will pull the plug, or at best sack Pearson, and go for one more season.

People fail to consider they surely expected to take a hit for Leicester if it meant more profits for King Power.

In other words you don't know anymore than the rest of us. You think that the Thais will pay off Pearson and his staff, therefore increasing the debt, and then pull out and demand their money back?

None of us know the exact financial position or the owners' thinking and if we did there isn't anything we can do about it. Worry about these things when there is something concrete to worry about.

To call this season "abysmal" is an abysmal gesture in itself.

If we had gotten relegated or been lingering in the bottom half of the table, then I'd agree.

We're just outside the playoffs, which makes for a rather disappointing view. Emphasis on disappointing.
