I would have thought the Police would have been on high alert the day after we were awarded the Olympics after how worried people were of an attack in Athens last year.

They would be on alert when the olympics is here... not when we have just been awarded it.

This is a massive pre-meditated attack, how can you sort this out in a few hours? This isn't because of the Olympics, if it is then i'm highly surprised.

I'm shaking like a ****, this is horrible.

There's going to be alot od deaths by the sound of it. Awful, i'm speechless.

Ref: The buliding in Euston, I'm just posting emails from friends I have in London.

thankfully all my friends down there are safe.

I would have thought they were on high alert anyways with the G8 and all that too.

That's in Scotland though??

Being on High Alert would not have stopped someone putting a bomb on a bus anyway!!! Nothing can stop that.

Do you know if there are any bombs still going off now - or have they gone off before?

The Harrowgate one has happened recently.

Well it would surely make sense for them to have been?

These scumbags clearly want to make a statement about how they can stop things and hurt people etc. so why would people not expect them to make a statement to the City awarded with the Olympics?

:(

They can do it anytime they bloody want to make a statement. I doubt this is to do with the olympics.

Being on high alert would do nothing anyway!

Perfect time for anyone to attack the capitol - most of the resources are up in Scotland fighting anachists and making sure they top brass don't get harmed leaving it open for other places to be attacked?

Bastards - what's up with the people who do this shit?

Exactly!

Brighton, Swindon and Southampton stations have been evacuated now. I hope this is only pre-cautionary and not because they have found bombs!

I get a horrible feeling this is the start of something major.

I wonder what the people in the big brother house are thinking! :S

Well I'm sure it could have done nothing worse.

Surely it's more than just a coincidence that it's happened the day after London was awarded the Olympics??

Hard As Nails

Day 42, 09:30

The theme tune from Chariots of Fire blared through the bedroom this morning as Eugene made a shock discovery about his toenails.

Cheeky Anthony and Maxwell painted Eugene's nails last night as the poor bloke slept unawares.

And the lads could barely contain their excitement as they waited for Eugene to notice.

The sweeping music leant a certain gravitas to the unfolding scene as Eugene looked down in slow motion and clocked his decorated toes.

Anthony can hardly contain his amusementBut the last laugh was on Maxwell and Anthony, because a calm Eugene didn't seem to mind all that much and toddled off to the kitchen with his painted digits.

The phantom polishers slumped back into their beds as a far less pleasing alarm sound began to ring.

Dear god my Dad just came home telling me the news, I couldn't believe it at first even though an attack was inevitable.

Please let there be no more attacks, it's very scary stuff.

I feel insecure all of a sudden.

Call me odd but I get the feeling that these wankers who have done this have gone for maximum chaos with small bombs on buses and tubes to get everyone evacuated and mayhem, then there will be some huge explosions in the central of London? Why do I get that feeling?

Arab sources that monitor Al Queda, have said that it's almost certainly Al Queda attacking us :(

Bollox, I hope not.

Ric - do you reckon they might have detonated the 'big bombs' by now to get the maximum carnage?

This has come as quite a shock to me, obviously I hope there are as few fatalities as possible, as we all do.

One of my friends has just pointed out that something like this offers a small glimpse, of what it must be like to live in Baghdad. After all, most people in this country only have a vague idea of terrorists as foreigners, primarily Arabs. You can only imagine what it must be like to live through a concerted bomb attack from a foreign army.

Six bombs are terrorism, hundreds of bombs are a military operation authorised by a democratic government.

I've never felt that strongly about the war before but some of the hypocrisy makes me sick.

Not sure, I hope that there are no bigger bombs but it seems to me that if Al Queda were going to bomb London they would go for maximum carnage with huge bombs. So whether that means this is the start of what's to come, I don't know.

It doesn't look good.
