whoareyaaa Posted 15 June 2012 Posted 15 June 2012 Interview tomorrow morning. may not hear anything definite but I think there are 150 places going. They might find something for me even if its making tea or cleaning lieus. I really don't mind. Only need do 16 hours if they offer a part time job. I am flexable to some extent. This the Tesco on Braunstone gate? they have been doing interviews at our offices for the past 3 weeks now loads of people in a out and all day. Must be a fair few jobs going their.
Rincewind Posted 15 June 2012 Posted 15 June 2012 Yes the new one. Opens July I was told so they would have to be brutal with the rejects. Imperial House? Looked like a temporary base set up for some reason just for the recruitment. I think they must be ditching the no's on the day. Some-one came in while I was waiting and he was from a Reading store. Never had his name down but they saw him first because he was 'internal' So if they are having applicants from within as well there must be loads. I think there were about 150 jobs going Like I said it may be they just want healthy looking younger people.

RonnieTodger Posted 21 June 2012 Posted 21 June 2012 I'm in the same boat. I've been unemployed since February and have been doing cash-in-hand jobs to get by. It's incredibly frustrating and I've just got a letter saying my interview wasn't successful from Antone and turns out one of my best mates got the job! I didn't even know he applied, the bastard. He's just finished his A-Levels and has walked into a job the lucky git. I'm no slouch, I have decent qualifications and still really do struggle. So frustrating.
