THEFATBASTARD Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Nowt wrong with death, would you prefer a weekend in Luton?
Thracian Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Death is the price we pay just for having sex ! Asexually reproducing animals just live forever constantly dividing into two This is what I've read somewhere anyway . One common species has survived 70m years reproducing asexually - far longer than anything reproducing sexually. Basically, sexual reproducers seem doomed to a relatively short existence unless the goalposts change drastically. Death is the price we pay just for having sex ! Rincewind Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Be thankful you're not a mayfly. They are born just to have sex ans die in the same day. Some spiders climb a whole tree only to be rejected bt the female then thrown off. Or the mate uf the Black Widow spider who has his head bitten off whilst on the job. Humans are the only creatures that know we are going to die at some point (well the only ones that make a big deal out of it) hence all the supertision and preperations in the hope that there is an afterlife. If we did not think we would be just like other animals. Born, struggle through the early years, find a mate reproduce then die. But no, some people have to form cults and get those supseptable (sp) to their mind games to follow them.
Guest MattP Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Scared? I'm 29 and I'm about done......just enjoy it, you only get one chance and try and see the wonders we and all before have created.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 After I am long gone, I would like to think someone would build a pub on top of me. What a memorial.

Rincewind Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 The thought of pissing on DT could mean the pub being a popular meeting place for some Foxestalk posters. Could meet up on the anniversary of his departue. A good way to remember him. For myself I hope my weitings may one day be discussed on some arts TV or radio program my the the eminent experts.
z-layrex Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 Yeah, very frightened of death. Work around it every day, and if anything I get more scared.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 You might be under the urinals. Knowing my luck, I probably would be.
