Welcome to the close season Left Wing Mafia thread.

A socialist utopia online where we can slag off Thatcher, the Tories, racists, Murdoch, The Daily Mail, Fox News, the Daily Express and many, many others with utter impunity.

A place where bigotry is met with scathing personal abuse.

A place where we can be left-wing PC fvckers purely for its own sake.

Absolutely no apologies made whatsoever for bias on this thread. None whatsoever.

Feel free to set up a right-wing response thread where you can similar to left-wing tossers. We got love and hate on this forum.

Anyway, right-wing tosser of the week.

I'm sure I can remember you being a Tory and a Liberal in the past.

I did vote Liberal last time, deeply regret that bugger.

Never voted Tory in my life though.

What a prick.

Not entirely sure I see his complaint - it's the opening of an event in which every fucking country in the world takes part, what was he expecting?

That absolute cvnt was filmed at a Nazi-themed stag party.

Horrible individual.

Surely that's his political career done with, especially considering his constituency is a marginal.

I think even the right lovers will be embarrassed by his comments (unless they agreed then I'd place them in 2nd place) I believe he has dropped a few clangers before and some Torys are pretending they have never heard of him.

I must confess I posted the link to his posts on facebook and Tumblr/ I also` posted on an outspoken Tweeter who then posted the posts as a picture. This was just before he posted his backtrack tweet.

Also tweeted it to Ricky Gervais and Stephen Fry for good measure. I doubt that I will be found out and blamed for his infamy though.

Always a misunderstanding, lost in translation-type excuse.

Twitter is a great place for typing something without thinking, regretting it and then getting the reasons in for why it wasn't what it should've been.

I hadn't heard of him until I saw that twitter bit in the Olympic ceremony thread. Unlike non Daily Mail readers I don't search the web looking for things to be outraged about.

You get them all conveniently in one bookmark with the Daily Fail?

Nope, just don't care.

Someone I've never heard of didn't like the opening ceremony, so what?

You've never heard of them because the DL have failed to highlight his previously hideous behaviours? Yet others have heard of him as they don't live in an internet and social bubble, away from those scary people and things that are disagreeably different to them.

Sorry Webbo that was a fail.

You stated that prior to this you had never heard of him. Thus I stated the reason why. Even the Daily Fail couldn't hide themselves from this one, as Cammo and chums have to distance them from him as loudly as possible by every means they can.

EDIT : Well done on the search function. I thought you read the DL. Do you just skim it and read about the fall from grace celebrities? Or are you actually ironically reading like everyone else?

I believe it was just the multi-cultual part that he did not like. He quite liked the Red Arrows and Rolling Stones because they were British and did not involve foreingners.

I hadn't heard of him, I just looked him up.

I buy the MOS mainly for the film/book reviews, a few opinion pieces, the sports news and the crossword. I tend to skip sensationalist stories about what people wear at fancy dress parties.

PS what's the DL?

So now that you know a little more about him (though he's a Tory) you still don't care what he has to say? Or you're not bothered as its a tarnish to the blues?

No.

Believe it or not I'm not obsessed with politics, if I wasn't a mod I'd ignore this thread. Over reactions tend to get on my tits and I (unfortunately) can't resist commenting.

As a political neutral, I should not be posting in this thread, but it seems to me that anyone who moans about a multicultural bias on a night when we have invited the world to our country (ie he can't see that it is, in fact, a multicultural event) is a poltroon and not fit to hold elected office.

What a great term of abuse. :D

Exactly. The opening ceromony is not the best time to voice your objection to the multi-cultual society that exists in Britain.

Maybe carrying a placard stating his views through the streets of Notting Hill during the carnival would be a mor appropriate time?

He could ask Mr Cameroon to join him. :)

There hasn't been a good time for years.

Anyway, I don't see what the MP has done wrong really. He's just stating his opinion on the opening ceremony. I can't agree or disagree with him because I didn't watch the ceremony. Maybe if I had I could have a stronger opinion on what the MP said.
