NorthernFox Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 In the year 2012, can anyone believe that the Taliban are not the worst of all humanity ever,,, To shoot a girl in the head for wanting equal rights as a human being. Is all of this murder/death/kill all being carried out in the name of god/allah/whoever. I'm pretty sure if there is one he couldn't believe how we treat each other. Why should it matter. What name he has would surely all get us to the same destination?... Why can't everyone just live their lives how they please and ignore their neighbours beliefs and get on with living their own. Lifes too short. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-19890022
NorthernFox Posted 9 October 2012 Author Posted 9 October 2012 Maybe, but where do we draw the line. Surely somebody must say, enough is enough. I am not a religious man. I have respect for any other who believes whatever. Why is that not enough for all men. Agree to differ. Stop killing each other for a difference of opinion. And if there is an almighty presence, it's about time he got on the pot and stopped all this killing in his name.

NorthernFox Posted 9 October 2012 Author Posted 9 October 2012 They are amateurs compared with whats gone on in the congo and the horn of africa.. Quite possibly in the face of genocide but these are also killing all future hope for mankind.
Guest MattP Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 Quite sickening but nothing unexpected from them to be honest.

I just suppose you're never gonna be able to persuade some people are you, like the extremists.

Captain... Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 They do it in the name of god, but it is for their own selfish reasons, what happened was horrendous and these cowards need to stop hiding behind god and just admit they are cvnts.
Reynard Bleu Posted 10 October 2012 Posted 10 October 2012 Like many other radical or extemist groups the Taliban is not a single unified entity. Some are just criminal warlords using the conflict to further their own terrtorial or powerbase claims, others are farmers and locals pissed at ISAF or the ANA/ANP trashing their poppy crops, others are hard line Talib, 'educated' in the violently extremist Madrasas of Pakistan, they use Islam as their banner and their Shield to inflict misery and terror on the populace, many are terrorised in to fighting or planting IED's, with very real threats to their life and their families. Having seen the results of their activities first hand, nothing these people do surprises me. To them the end totally justifies the means.
MooseBreath Posted 10 October 2012 Posted 10 October 2012 Shooting them all would be pricey. Just get a gaggle of 14-year-old white girls to act as pied piper and lead them off the edge of a cliff

Darkon84 Posted 10 October 2012 Posted 10 October 2012 What were here parents thinking? They must have known there was always a chance of this happening?
The Doctor Posted 10 October 2012 Posted 10 October 2012 What were her parents thinking? They must have known there was always a chance of this happening? What, by letting her protest for things that should really be a given? That sort of attitude, the "don't do anything about injustice because of the risk of the backlash" is ridiculous and just perpetuates disgusting shit like this.

I agree with what she was doing etc, but lets be honest. there was always a massive risk of this happening. Why wasnt a more prominent adult female doing it? Why was it left to a child to do? Would you have allowed your daughter such exposure, knowing the huge risks?

Why wasnt a more prominent adult female doing it? Why was it left to a child to do? Would you have allowed your daughter such exposure, knowing the huge risks? You're assuming there was a more prominent woman around that would have chosen to do what she did, it could be she was the only one willing to actually make a stand. Probably, I'd be worried given the risks but at the same time I'd be proud to have a child who wasn't happy to sit back and accept injustice.
leicsmac Posted 10 October 2012 Posted 10 October 2012 Incredibly brave girl. I hope she recovers fully and continues to fight ignorance.
