Guest Bilo Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Could have swore it was 2015 in the film. It was, this fake has been going around for years. All of the years visited where within a round number of years of the year the original was made in 1985. BTTF: 1955 BTTFII: 2015 and 1955 BTTFIII: 1885 I know, I need to get out more.
Guest MattP Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 I've only remember because I'm gonna make a fortune backing the Cubs to win the World Series.

You and me both as I knew all those dates. Ah well only three year to wait for hover boards, self drying jackets and instant justice.

Alexikokopops Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 If I see this thing anymore I am going to punch the Internet. The base year for the Back To The Future trilogy was set 1985. Marty McFly went 30 years back, then 30 years forward, then 100 years back. 1955, 2015, then 1885. This is the third time I've seen it this year. The lesson? Don't trust the Internet. Even Wikipedia would have saved you here.
Alexikokopops Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 I didn't even read the other replies in this thread I got so irritated I had to pause last week's University Challenge to argue on the Internet. The fact I was watching that while expressing my knowledge of Back To The Future shows the walking contradiction that I have become. FORM AN ORDERLY LADIES
Matt Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Can't see anything just says 'Posted Image' where an image is supposed to be one would guess. I've had this problem many times on here, also can't see some photos on Facebook, anyone know what the problem is or how to resolve the problem?

1964FOX Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 'don't believe anything you read on the Internet' - Abraham Lincoln Great man if he believes that then it's good enough for me. I will see if I can add him as a Facebook friend.
foxesfan1989 Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 Come on people, 2015!! Stop posting this every few weeks! Weird that it means enough for people to post it but can't actually remember the years the films were set in ....

Impossible--in the movie, they sweep Miami, who is in the National League and thus cannot play the Cubbies in the World Series because they're both National League teams

marty78 Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Plus time-travel doesn't even exist. I'm travelling through time at a rate of 60 seconds every minute.
Guest MattP Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Impossible--in the movie, they sweep Miami, who is in the National League and thus cannot play the Cubbies in the World Series because they're both National League teams I thought this at the time but they were called the Florida Marlins a few year back and changed to Miami, so it's about time Miami were shifted into the American league in the next season or to. Let's hope Bud makes it happen.

(imo) Shame they didn't take this as chance to shift Miami.

We need to keep Miami in the NL east so the Mets have a better chance of not finishing last!
Phube Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 We all know it... But why don't Hover Boards work on water?
