It's alright hitting a hattrick against some lower league team in the cup, but none of us know if be can actually cut it as a striker in the Championship. Waghorn has proved in the past that he can score goals. In the games I've seen Schluup he's looked good but that's no knock on Waggers. NP is the man who sees them day in day out and therefore best placed to choose the team.

Udders play an awful lot of hoof ball which I think suits him better as he can just stand upfront and hope for a chance in the box.

Waghorn has proved in the past that he can score goals. Not for the last two years he hasn't. It's possible that a player can just go backwards. Schlupp hasn't had an awful lot of chances, even last season he was played on the right a lot. I'd rather give him more of a chance than stick with Waghorn who's had so many chances and has not been good enough for quite some time.

Oh yeah - he didn't want to play for us permanantly in the championship did he? Beckford was poo for us but scored two against Forest in the cup. Beckford looked good in that game and he scored a hatttrick. My point wasn't about Beckford though but about the fact we are missing a striker with a quality finish.
