I'm sure Tony Bates has had a mare with us before as well? To be fair, how many times does a ref decide that a player's dived and then go on to actually book him? It's a ridiculous status quo in a sport where fans and pundits alike abhor any player going down cheaply - FA needs to pull their thumb out on this issue without a doubt.

Very rarely, but surely that shows the incompetence of refs?? It's not a ridiculous rule like taking your shirt off is, yet players get booked every single time when taking their shirts off and hardly ever for diving, it's madness.
