There are some interesting stories here. I am not just posting for the first one. It just happens to be at the top. There are also amusing items and football related ones. I do not want to come across as preachy by just selecting one or two.. Feel free to ignore the ones you disagree with.

Muslim fashion magazine outsells vogue in first year.

Thought I found it more interesting for the football info. Men are banned from Istanbul derby games (maybe all it doesn't say) and the ground is full of women and kids - Isn't that interesting?

Old army blankets.

I haven't got a spare room, how am I expected to survive?

Are you disabled, have an illness needing an overnight carer, separated with children or mother staying overnight (cant sleep with you) or are you just a loner?

We do not all live the same lives or have the same needs. If you do not need a spare room then you have nothing to worry about. Your life is perfect.

What the fvck you going on about lol

If we have guests stay over i'll go and sleep on the sofa, or put an air bed up in the living room.

What if you've got two sets of guests over? You'll have to send one of them home! Nobody should have to live with such pain and suffering.

I've actually got 2 of my daughters sharing a room. C'mon Ken get Down and Out to organise a protest rally for me or at least write me a poem.

If they were boy girl would they share?

Anyway wires are crossed somewhere. The article was not about normal home owners. It was about the severely disabled who needed regular overnight cares and room for storage of equipment. When it came out the impact on the most vulnerable was not studied. Councils were told that there was not enough suitable homes available and there was already a long waiting list at many councils. This has now been admitted and they are reviewing it. It is too late for those that have suffered stress through loss of income. I am saying it is not necessary wrong but that it was rushed through without proper study  or advice.

The rethink after thousands have gone to court over it costing the tax payer millions. The Lib Dems are even calling for changes abet..trying to regain voters support.

I think I have said this all before though so it may be boring by now. I can delete it if it makes others happy.

You must not have read the article kenbo because it says:

"the practical truth is that almost all of us need a spare bedroom because we do not live isolated lives in neatly demarcated social spaces. In other words families have blurred edges and being able to have people to stay –children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, parents, friends is part and parcel of life."

Which is frankly a ludicrous argument. Probably the most ridiculous argument against the spare room subsidy I've heard and that's saying something. What's more, the article doesn't mention disabled people once. Not even once.

I find Estonia's stance on the digital native quite interesting:

From the looks of it, the system seems to be rather effective and cost-cutting, helping and assisting every Estonian in order to generate a better and more efficient country.

You do not believe other people have friends and relatives and socialise and interact with each other?

How sad.

Either you didn't read the article or were intentionally lying about it being to do with disabled people. Which was it?

As for your question, it isn't even worth answering.
