kingfox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Just when I thought i'd managed to completely forget about Josh low... He really was the worst player I've seen play for us, a winger that failed at both taking on players and crossing a ball, the poor bloke was completely out of his depth every time he put on the shirt Thanks Rob Kelly. Mentioned this before but it always sticks in my head. Josh Low had the most hilarious exit, I went to his final game and he got subbed and got booed by our own fans, about a week later he went to Peterborough.
Corky Posted 22 November 2012 Posted 22 November 2012 Mark De Vries, Elvis Hammond and Stephen Hughes, three incredibly shit players. But it just makes me laugh, we weren't calling them shit when they scored in that legendary 3-2 comeback win against Spurs. I also had a shirt with Kenton 4 on the back, I went to the open day signing session, wanted his autograph so badly, but was so nervous, I took my top off and gave it to my mate and he then gave it Darren to sign. Well, we were. Just makes it even better that they beat top 4 chasing Spurs.
Fox in the North Posted 22 November 2012 Posted 22 November 2012 I quite liked Paddy McCarthy he wasn't as bad as the others.
SystonFox Posted 22 November 2012 Posted 22 November 2012 I quite liked Paddy McCarthy he wasn't as bad as the others. Apparently Stuart Pearce was livid he was allowed to leave. Rated him highly. Has been a decent champ cb since we got rid. Patrick Gerrbrand...
Fox in the North Posted 22 November 2012 Posted 22 November 2012 He never messed about, and if I can't think of something bad about him, he must have been decent .
SystonFox Posted 22 November 2012 Posted 22 November 2012 The legendary Peter Gilbert Remember getting excited about him as we'd tried for ages to sign him. Played about 3 games then shipped off on loan if I remember correctly?
marko Posted 22 November 2012 Posted 22 November 2012 Wasn't Gilbert a left back from Plymouth ? Yes. A hopeless one at that.
