Do you remember a certain Ryan Smith who played for us on loan from Arsenal about 5-6 years ago. He was quite a skillful and pacey winger who did ok for us. Anyway quite random but he just popped into my head watching the Millwall game, he went thorugh a lot of Championship clubs but never did very well. He is now at Chivas in the US.

Just thought you foxes would want to know this?

Immense at sheff utd at home too. After that he was dog poo. He was the first Alex Oxlade chamberlain.

We looked so good that game. Warnock banging on about our front 4. Pretty sure it was Smith - Hammond - De Vries - Sylla haha. Something like that anyway.

i rated him at the time, a bit of flair even if there was no end product. it was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise depressing period at the club.

No end product...............

Meet lloyd dyer.................

Most weeks.

Yeah, looked like he was going to be a decent player. I remember the Blades game, think he scored that game as well.

Shows what an absolutely awful period that was when Ryan ****ing Smith was the biggest prospect we had at the time. Jesus Christ, it's worse than I remembered.

Well we did have the likes of James Weslowski and Stephen Hughes bossing the centre of midfield back then.

And people sometimes call Andy King lightweight.

I'd forgotten all about Andy Johnson. He's one of those players who I always forget about when someone starts up a 'who's the worse player you've seen in a city shirt'. Though he has a lot of competiton - especially from those days.

Darren Kenton, Jason Jarrett, Luigi Glombard, Rufus Brevett, Peter Gilbert, Jason Wilcox, Nathan Blake, Joe Hamill, Andy Welsh, Bruno N'Gotty, Kevin Pressman.

God we've had some sh*t over the past few years.

I didn't go to many games at all in that era but there was always someone making their debut when I did. And of course they were always shit and after a few weeks were never sighted again. I remember Horsfield and Jarret falling into that category. It just seemed to be a revolving door of pointless signings. We struggle to remember them and they probably struggle to remember playing for us.

Good shout about Maybury, everytime I saw us I thought he was stand-out shit, and that's saying something.
