NiftyFox Posted 19 November 2012 Author Posted 19 November 2012 Darren Kenton, Jason Jarrett, Luigi Glombard, Rufus Brevett, Peter Gilbert, Jason Wilcox, Nathan Blake, Joe Hamill, Andy Welsh, Bruno N'Gotty, Kevin Pressman. God we've had some sh*t over the past few years. I remember when Kenton scored in the first minute against Norwich which was Wortho's first game, oh it all went downhill from there.
NiftyFox Posted 19 November 2012 Author Posted 19 November 2012 I think we signed Mark Yeates in that era from Spurs, seem to recall him scoring on his debut against Luton.
SystonFox Posted 19 November 2012 Posted 19 November 2012 I remember when Kenton scored in the first minute against Norwich which was Wortho's first game, oh it all went downhill from there. Kenton won me £80 as I had him first g/s £2 40/1 away at stoke. Also had kisnorbo too and thought it was him initially! Lost 4-2 eventually we were terrible. Surprise surprise
Soar Fox Posted 19 November 2012 Posted 19 November 2012 I've missed one of the endless names of shit players who graced the football club. The wizard winger Josh Low
Jimothy Posted 19 November 2012 Posted 19 November 2012 What happened to Dadibas and Nils Johannson? Dabizas went on to star in Coupling under the pseudonym Ben Miles.
Soar Fox Posted 19 November 2012 Posted 19 November 2012 What happened to Dadibas and Nils Johannson? Dabizas is still in a Spanish prison after being arrested in 2004.
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2012 Posted 19 November 2012 Always thought we should have kept Nils-Eric Johansson. Will never forget that goal, against Preston.
Aus Fox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Wasn't Keith Gillespie player of the year that year? And even Conrad Logan got a game or two! I think I was mildly excited when we signed Lee Hendrie on loan and some winger from Luton bell?? Truly awful period lets erase it from our history books
AyewJoking Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 did we have scot gemmil or ray parlour? or both?
Aus Fox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Defiantly had Scott gemmil and Craig higmett don't recall ray parlour
Soar Fox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Chris Makin, Steve Howey, Martin Keown, John Curtis. What a back four that was
Fox92 Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Gillespie's goal against West Ham is still one of the best I've seen in a Leicester shirt though.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Mark de Vries, possibly the worst target man ever to play football, he was actually alright with his feet, but I'll always love him for his goal against Spurs, what a night.
Mark_w Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Danny Tiatto was my favourite player in those days, man we were rubbish when I was a kid. Half of the lucky bastards on here grew up with a Martin O'Neill Leicester City side.
Bert Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Danny Tiatto was my favourite player in those days, man we were rubbish when I was a kid. Half of the lucky bastards on here grew up with a Martin O'Neill Leicester City side.
NiftyFox Posted 21 November 2012 Author Posted 21 November 2012 Williams a centre mid? I think we sold him to Watford, never heard since.
marko Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Williams a centre mid? I think we sold him to Watford, never heard since. Gareth Williams. Got him from Forest.
Corky Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Danny Tiatto was my favourite player in those days, man we were rubbish when I was a kid. Half of the lucky bastards on here grew up with a Martin O'Neill Leicester City side. Great times
Soar Fox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 I was lucky enough to be growing up with Martin O'Neils team. Great times watching down Filbert Street. Back then I didn't appreciate what I was watching, like the Bergkamp hat-trick I was only 11 and couldn't really appreciate how good it was. Used to love sitting in the double decker stand and seeing Gerry Taggart, Steve Walsh and Matt Elliott jogging up for a corner.
EnderbyFox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Just when I thought i'd managed to completely forget about Josh low... He really was the worst player I've seen play for us, a winger that failed at both taking on players and crossing a ball, the poor bloke was completely out of his depth every time he put on the shirt Thanks Rob Kelly.
kingfox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Mark De Vries, Elvis Hammond and Stephen Hughes, three incredibly shit players. But it just makes me laugh, we weren't calling them shit when they scored in that legendary 3-2 comeback win against Spurs. I also had a shirt with Kenton 4 on the back, I went to the open day signing session, wanted his autograph so badly, but was so nervous, I took my top off and gave it to my mate and he then gave it Darren to sign.
