Prediction for the last 4. Taylor vs Barney & MVG vs Wade

Should have had a bet on that. That was awesome. Lewis lost with an average of over 100 . MVG vs Barney final please

Unbelievable match. Wanted Lewis to win though. Was gutted when he missed the 2 darts at double top for the win. Thought he'd done it when he got that chance, but it wasnae to be!

Lost half of my (small) stack on Newton. Put it on when he was 2-0 up.

Now the football's over we're onto the real sport.

Tonight's got potential to be even better than last night which was some how even better than Whitlock/Chizzy which was somehow better than Thornton/Nicholson which were all somehow better than last year's worlds.

MvG should do Wade, although I'd like a Wade win, can't see it. Wayne Mardle put a stat up on his blog that basically said MvG will be first to a double in almost every leg, with or against the throw because his first 9 darts average is fúcking humongous. So even with his dodgy doubling at times he'll win comfortably unless Wade ups his game (and average by about 10 points!)

Then I have no idea what will happen but it's the big one. Barney's back to something like his best and he's playing Taylor. Holy shit.

Am I right in saying Taylor as won 18 out of 18 semi final matches in this competition?

I enjoyed the banter between those 2 the other day. Barney is more confident than I have ever seen him before.

The stat I heard the other day was 18/19 in all world championships (BDO/PDC) I think. Might've been 18/18 though. Either way it is a bloody good record. But he's always been comfortably the best player in the tournament by the time he's in the semis, unless he's already gone out.

I think he'll win tonight though. Barney is in great form but Taylor will up his game I think, his reaction when Dave Clark told him players, and Barney, don't fear The Power anymore was one of "well watch me make them fear me". Fighting talk. Hopefully it will be an epic.

It`s certainly added a little bit of spice to what should be an epic encounter :thumbup:

I`ll be cheering for Barney because of this treble I had the other day.

I'm supporting Barney too. Not had a bet yet, was looking for something tonight but there's not a lot of value. MvG is like 1/5, and Taylor/Barney is too close. Even most 180s has no real value about it, MvG is again around 1/5 and Barney is about 2/5 to hit more than Taylor. Think I'll just sit back and enjoy :xmasbiggrin:

Think last night he also mentioned Wade's average being around 92 all through the tournament. If van Gerwen misses alot of doubles again owt could happen, but other than that canna see him losing. Will be buzzing for Wade if he can pull it off though.

Glad there's someone else in the world who likes a bit of Wadey.

Mardle is class, right amount of excitement mixed in with a few decent lines and a bit of taking the piss out of himself.

I had Van Gerwen @ 9/2 at the start of the tournament

I thought the odds on him winning it were crap but it looks a good call now :xmaswink:

I must say, the walk on girls have been magnificent this year but they need to get rid of them there dancers on the stage.... they`re so classless.
