I went with my mrs when I was 18 and it was all about boozing no doubt but nobody was really interested in the sex side of things, atleast not on that scale. Guys doing shots of piss too? What the **** has gone on in the world when someone is drinking his own piss? Messed up stuff. I'm now 26 it was 8 years ago. Kavos was decent back then, looks like a right dive now. It was fvcking amazing to see but not in a good way. The parents of anyone on that programme would be truly embarrased.

SystonFox Posted 7 January 2013 Posted 7 January 2013 In other news I went ayia napa in 2011 and it was brilliant. A group of 6 of us, 3 couples. Stayed in protaras which is the next town along with decent ish nightlife. Ayia napa was a quality night out and nowhere near as expensive as everyone goes on about. Came home with change as every bar you go in they throw free drinks at you! Brilliant.
David Guiza Posted 7 January 2013 Posted 7 January 2013 I went Kavos last summer and my experience was nothing like that. Quite clearly on a programme like that the producers over exaggerate and pick out the worst/best candidates depending on how you view it. I had a laugh, but i wouldn't go back. Travelling is a much option for me, but from first hand experience Kavos is a good place for a lads holiday and it's not as that programme made it out.

I'm going magaluf in June and Ibiza in August never been either of them before so hoping they live up to what people say.

Ibiza we're thinking of renting a villa depending on how many of us are going so far 4 of us. If not we'll probably try and book the Ibiza rocks hotel.

We stayed in what was basically someone's second house in amongst some trees down some dirt track in Zante last year. Cost us about half what it cost everyone else who went all inclusive in big hotels, with rules and bouncers and gates and shit. No rules at all where we were. It was a complete shithole but it was a five minute walk from the strip, the woman who lived there cooked us a beast of a breakfast every morning and we had the place basically to ourselves. It was boss.

Ibiza Rock Hotel is good but be prepared to pay through the nose for a week there, especially if you go on the Radio 1 weekend. Isn't that where they had them staying on the Magalug Weekender the other day? Think you are right, although that was the 'Lively Hotel' and not necessarily the apartments. The apartments could be another complex just around the corner. Mallorca Rocks do this with their Hotel/Apartments.

Never been magaluf before. Easy place to pull women?

Depends can be quite a meat feast sometimes but the girls who do go tend to be up for it, but be prepared to drop your standards on some occasions and try and avoid going BCM all the time the strip with all the bars and clubs are just as good
