When all that paper got thrown and the beach ball went up that was when i finally got in.

The England beach ball started being thrown about at about half past two, I know as I took it!

Someone burst it though before kick off, it was certainly overcrowded, there were waves of pushing at the back especially towards the far end of the stand. Weren't the stewards making people enter in the furthest doorways first, I'm pretty sure they were directing people further down the stand. They must have known it was going to be extremely packed.

Indeed it can. Which is why nobody is propsoing the reintroduction of terraces like Peterborough's.

Many people do argue for old fashioned terracing though and don't concede that terracing is in any way unsafe.

Nobody seriously proposes it though.

The campaign run by the FSF has the backing of safety officers and experts across the country as well as 22 Premiership and Football League clubs because it's a campaign for proven safe standing areas. That's far and away the most prominent and successful drive for standing areas, the desire for terraces like at Peterborough is little more than a fringe.

One of the stewards said we were the worst behaved fans they'd seen all season! lol

I take that as a compliment.

Will FSF be able to use today's experience as an argument in favour of safe standing? I hope so.

As do I, his comment just means that we were loud and abusive. As long as we weren't being violent (although some of our fans did have a bit of a scrap between themselves for some reason ) then I don't view "bad behaviour" as a negative thing.

The best celebration I've been involved in all season, Marshall v Birmingham is probably equal to it but otherwise there haven't been any goals I've been more excited to see go in.

Last minute winner v Cardiff please! :fc:

I got inside the ground around 1:45 and there must have been already 500 there, by 2:30pm around where i was standing it was really packed already. From 2:55pm onwards I could hardly move from then it was jam packed near the front, very dangerous! worrying thing was there was a few kids near the front and if a sudden force came from the back the poor buggers would have be seriously hurt.

Overall it was nice to stand for a change but it couldn't have been nice for some supporters!

We were standing far left near where the smoke bomb was let off. It was quite dangerous I thought. About 5-10 minutes into the game there was quite a big surge forward where a load of fans had just came through.

A couple of young lads know older than 16 got pushed into a woman who was stood with her husband. The bloke was out of order and started having a go at them and shouting when really it wasn't the lads fault.

That celebration was awesome to be fair.

That celebration was bonkers, the stand erupted. Just bodies everywhere.

If anybody has photos of that celebration and the smoke bomb going off at the same time, it would look utterly incredible.

it was epic.i had a mate who was a steward and another mate who I was taking home( posh fan )

They both said they have never seen an end go so mental.

What did you Posh fan mate make of the game, support etc in general?

Also, Nuge was lapping it up before kick off wasn't he!!

To be fair at half time we did turn the away end into a toilet. I walked off the terrace to the back below the stand and everyone was singing 'we piss where we want, we're Leicester city........' Not the best way to behave but it was a shit hole. It's ironic they're nicknamed posh ;-/
