beduffrich Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 Been a Cov supporter all of my 29 years on this earth. I'm becoming more and more disillusioned with the club. Give me some proper reasons that I may want to come over to the Dark (Blue) side? I don't want any responses saying cause they're a bunch of ****ing idiots, just proper reasons.
beduffrich Posted 15 February 2013 Author Posted 15 February 2013 No I have a fear of large empty spaces.
MC Prussian Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 First of all, you've got to burn everything Coventry City related. Consider it a cleansing ritual.
indierich06 Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 No I have a fear of large empty spaces. Well that's one reason to abandon the Ricoh. 1. Better players and better football. 2. Best manager we've had in donkey's years. 3. Great chairman and board who are backing the team and trying to improve things. The fans are a right bunch of moaning bastards though.
dobbylcfc Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 As much as I hate the sky Blum scum I think you should stick by your team no matter what I'd still support my team even if they ended up in the confrence
beduffrich Posted 15 February 2013 Author Posted 15 February 2013 As much as I hate the sky Blum scum I think you should stick by your team no matter what I'd still support my team even if they ended up in the confrence Why? You support a team for the good times and the bad times. At Cov it's been 26 years of complete and utter shite. Why would you stick by them?
jonthefox Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 Why? You support a team for the good times and the bad times. At Cov it's been 26 years of complete and utter shite. Why would you stick by them? Unfortunatly thats what you do with football.
beduffrich Posted 15 February 2013 Author Posted 15 February 2013 Unfortunatly thats what you do with football. My question is WHY?

Why would you stick by them? Yea I can understand u being pixxed off that Cov are in league 1 and ain't been in the prem for a while but how are they ever likely to get better and attract decent owners if all you/your fans pixx off and support another team???? Unfortunatly thats what you do with football. This
The Year Of The Fox Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 Stick with them. Its the golden rule of football
Munshi Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 Think the only reason you're on FT anyway is to view the Hottest celebs thread
beduffrich Posted 15 February 2013 Author Posted 15 February 2013 Think the only reason you're on FT anyway is to view the Hottest celebs thread No but one I found it I thought I would stick around
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 No but one I found it I thought I would stick around What is your actual town of residence?
beduffrich Posted 15 February 2013 Author Posted 15 February 2013 What is your actual town of residence? That's a little personal. You do not have my permission to break into my house and Bum me. Currently living in Ullesthorpe.

Stop being a complete nob. Why would you go on a rival forum and ask their fans whether you should abandon your team after nearly 30 years or not? Nob . Nob
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 So what would/will you do when you realise that we're no world beaters? Move on to the next club? As others have said, stick with your club. Why did you choose them in the first place? Why did you stick with them after 5 years of shite, then 10 years, and so on. You've shown integrity by staying with your club through thick and thin. Something with which the glory hunting wankers of today can't fathom. Why throw that away? Sorry to say, but you're destined for a lifetime of doom with Cov. The same way we are too, just at a slightly higher level (for the moment). Just my two pennies worth

In all honesty really only getting into football proper these last 3 years or so.

You'll get the right feel for whichever club and make your mind up.
flowwolf Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 You have won the F.A cup stick with a winning side.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 February 2013 Posted 15 February 2013 That's a little personal. You do not have my permission to break into my house and Bum me. Currently living in Ullesthorpe. Ahhh Leicestershire. This is means you were just misguided as a young child. You have ties here my friend, come home. We do not have a casino in our stadium, but on the bright side we aren't about to be kicked out of it. Join us, welcome, if during your early days as a Leicester fan you find yourself getting frustrated, most people find it healthy to let off steam in the direction of Martyn Waghorn and Jamie Vardy.
