I could tolerate it when they had the brand split, but it's pretty much pointless if ADR is going to be on RAW anyway. I'd also like the IC and US to merge aswell.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 13 October 2013 Posted 13 October 2013 The brand split was great as i said both Raw and Smackdown had equally quality wrestlers and the mid card wrestlers were stronger than the current WHC recent guys who have been going for the title. I was just watching Smackdown from 2005 and they had Undertaker, JBL, Booker T, Eddie G, John Cena, Kurt Angle, RVD and Rey Mysterio. That's a lot of guys who could easily hold their own at the main event stage, all going for one title. There's not that many guys who are currently in the same class as them. As i previously put Raw was too very strong back then, but since this time the real quality wrestlers havent been replaced. The WHC and both mid card titles have suffered from this. Its actually quite sad to see the difference in quality of wrestling then and now. Unifying the big titles would be a good move at WM i think. Would definitely improve the mid card matches too

I was surprised too, a pleasant surprise none the less, can see Reigns and Rollins winning them back in some sort of controversial manner at Hell in a Cell. All shaping up for that Show v HHH match at Survivor Series I predicted a few weeks ago.

Yeah I do understand the logic, after the wcw dropped the NWA. The wcw belt was basically the NWA title. All the territories where dead and wcw had all the NWA main wrestlers. Even the Ecw title came from shane Douglas throwing down the Nwa title and declaring it, the ecw title.

Uncle Albert Posted 17 October 2013 Author Posted 17 October 2013 Rey Mysterio was back at a live event the other night to make a save for Sin Cara v Del Rio, wonder if the little man will be back to Raw and Smackdown anytime soon. WWE are still really keen on Mysterio v Cara at WrestleMania as well apparently and keeping Goldust involved until WrestleMania so he can have a showdown with Cody Rhodes. Weird thinking back that Rhodes and Goldust were fighting each other in this years Royal Rumble.

Decided i am going to wait till April though and go to the taping somewhere, hopefully its in Birmingham this time

Mike the Metal Ed Posted 20 October 2013 Posted 20 October 2013 I went to the Revolution Pro Wrestling show at the York Hall in Bethnal Green last night and saw a fantastic match between Prince Devitt and Ricochet. Devitt is supposedly on WWE's radar, so I hope when he inevitably winds up on NXT they let him do his thing. Bret Hart was also in attendance for the main event between 'Party' Marty Scurll and Hiroshi Tanahashi. I was sat near Georgia Smith, Davey Boy's daughter, who got pointed out by Andy Boy Simmonz, who I think is doing a program with David Hart Smith. Ric Flair is their special guest for the next show at York Hall in March.

Im in the lower block, 115 cant remember which block were in. but were just on the incline looking directly at the tv camera, maybe 5/6 rows higher than floor level just so we dont get blocked views from those god damned homemade signs
