Guest Col city fan Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Some People seem to equate being a City fan with having to be a Nigel Pearson fan, or a fan of whichever manager is in post at the time. You are 'disloyal' they will cry if you don't back the manager despite what. I've seen it on here under quite a few managers now (Ollie, Sousa, particularly Sven, now Nige). Well being a City fan isn't only about the current manager. For me it's the Spion Kops, shirt changes over the years, being run at by opposition fans, Wembley finals, Rooster and Bobby Mimms, Walshy, piss-ups etc ect. My memories will remain long after Nigel Pearson has left the club, which is why when he came out with the 'clown' statement he got my blood boiling. He isn't Leicester born and bred so if he don't like it, he can Fook off as far as I'm concerned. Regarding the OP... There's always been a limit in my mind regarding what should and shouldn't be chanted. That one goes beyond that limit cos it's not funny, it's not banter it's just sick really.
JockWallace Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 You read it here first people, paying an admission fee entitles you to behave like a cvnt. So using these words makes you a better man! The world is an evil place the football terraces have always been a place to sing songs about many things! Right or wrong chants people will always have an opinion and think that there's is the right one! Wake up smell the coffee! You won't change it! From racist chants of many years ago to songs about wife beating players and rapists now about sick murderers and you use the worst word in the human language I applaud you and your loyal support of our team and our want of friendliness! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘. Above all if our inept manager motivated a squad and played a system with players in their right position and new the opposition you would only hear the LCFC songs for 90 mins!!!!!!
Strokes Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Who cares about you being offended. I wasnt their but these kind of chants have been happening ever since ive been watching football. If you get offended you are playing into their hands.....man up and sing your girly non offensive songs louder or stfu. I dont care what we are singing as long as there is an atmosphere.

Guest Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 So using these words makes you a better man! No. Not justifying offensive chants simply because I paid to get into a match makes me the better man. If you cannot see that this chant crossed a line then there's no real hope for you. And we won't change it whilst people like you continue to think it's okay just because you paid an entrance fee.
flowwolf Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 It's a song! It's a football game. When you pay and travel you can sing what you like! When they play like they did its a good job the fans try and bring a smile to people! We're not the sick ones we didn't burn the kids they did!! Stop moaning about songs and start on the important bit ! Pearson out! You'll be sacked in the morning sacked in the morning .... I blame Wellens No your not the ones who burnt your kids to death your the ones singing about kids being burned to death , see if you can spot the difference . You can sing what you like eh ? you utter scum.

Strokes Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Modern football ruining the game Yeah its part of the reason why i dont bother going down as much anymore. The matchday experience in modern day is too pink and fluffy for me, not to mention paying through the nose for it. I'd rarther spend my money on my kids and tourture myself listening to stringer than be at the game with plastic sit on your hand fans who are begging to be 'offended disgusted outraged' or whatever the latest buzz word is for their new self attention designed crap. And breathe Rant over

Jakemoore Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 We have some complete dick heads for fans. Was anyone there at the boat pub (whatever it's called) in Peterborough last month when a bunch of yobs started hurling beer bottles at eachother?! Some of them were coming quite close to me, they're a bunch of morons! And anyone who sung a song about that situation where the kids got killed in the fire is a ****ing idiot.

If you cant bring forward a decent point lets throw in the racist card modern day nazi I disagree, it's paying 100% of your turnover out in player wages, the divers, the moaners, the sky programmers, the bartons, the dioufs, the neon boots, mansions and bentleys, the two footed lunges, the ticket prices, the expectation levels and roman abramovichs which have bought the demise to this.

But your right about one thing my ability to feel the awful death of those children is beyond singing songs about it does make me feel important compared to the likes of you.

1964FOX Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Didn't hear the chant and i'm glad of that. Let's not pretend it's banter as it's clearly not acceptable.
