foxesfan1989 Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 A friend of mine who is a Southend fan seems to be under the impression he is ready to take over as manager. Paul Sturrock their current manager may have to resign through ill health. Anyone else hear this / think it is likely? I reckon he would make a solid lower league manager.
Fox92 Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Only seen it on rumour sites and Southend's football forum.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Bad news for us if true. We could use him at a time like this. Best of luck to him though.
yorkie1999 Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Probably the reason he was grinning when he got off the bus yesterday and everyone else looked as miserable as f**k
Sir Shep Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 I was wondering that if NP did get the boot whether Shakey would perhaps take over the reigns here, at least until the end of the season. He does seem popular and has a good eye for talent. Anyway not saying it will happen, just thinking aloud.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Well I suppose it would stop us being so Shakey . . . .
Dickov22 Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 No chance. He lives at the end of my road- kids both in school here in Lichfield. He didnt even move them when he was at Hull, he commuted. Can't exactly commute to Southend. Pure rubbish.
Jimothy Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Well I suppose it would stop us being so Shakey . . . . Ironically that's Paul Sturrock's problem.
flowwolf Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Ironically that's Paul Sturrock's problem. You should hang that cloth over your face with shame .
Deucalion Posted 17 March 2013 Posted 17 March 2013 Would of thought he would be on better money here It's not all about money though is it. If he does fancy a go at management, then he needs to do it soon as he is getting on a bit. I would wish him all the best as a manager.
