Must be so hard for you to keep it together, just give in ...... Ive been off my head for years ..jump in, the waters fine !

The woman across the road, who just happens to be my step-daughters boyfriends step-mom, is a gold-digging, alcohol addled, grade A lunatic.

This estate is supposed to be posh and it is getting a bit like Shameless!!

I'm sorry. Events tonight in our quiet little cul de sac has left me with a mental tussle between hilarity and outrage.

Which leads me to think that there seems far more madness, ineptitude and delusion in my quiet sphere of the world than I was previously aware of. As Foxestalk was open I have, for some strange reason, maybe to add my own bit of madness to the mix, written down my own musings on events in the available space.

I would explain but I don't know where to start. And all the above is based on the purely subjective assumption that it is fact me who is sane and reasonable.

This is a discussion board so a point to discuss could be...do more people seem closer to mental breakdowns at the minute and what is the reason for this?

Yes.

Less money around, can't afford milk. Children crying because there is no milk to go on their cornflakes - Parents stressed out as a result of children crying.

Solution: Subsidise cow farmers to reduce price of milk. Osbourne missed a trick in the budget today. :/ There's my analysis of the socio-economic issues that we face today, hope that answers your question.

Could work. Alcohol might make the kids think less and calm down a bit, should ease off the crying then. Concentration at school might drop but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

To be serious, while I don't feel likely to be drowned by said tidal wave at the moment, I am definitely aware of having to count the pennies in a way I haven't had to for a long while.

And at work I am aware of lots of tension and anxiety. Maybe it is me who is delusional to not be particularly worried?

As for the woman over the road, I don't think external factors explain her behaviour. She is heading for her own particular financial and social meltdown of which she is the sole architect. As she is not being very nice, it is not only tragic...

but a little funny.

I'm a bad person!

There's no jobs and no future anyway. Oblivion might be the best they can hope for.

On that cheery note...off to bed!

This is a wildly random thread and I'm not sure why I started it now.

Before it drifts off into oblivion however, I am going to state one more thing. This is...

There are only so many times you can hear someone rage-boast about their 'designer hunting hound' and still retain any sympathy for them!

Are there enough designers to make it worthwhile for the dog round your way?
