Haydos Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I know there's already a thread but I think he deserves another. Ran his fvcking socks off for us today, I don't think I saw him stop. Fantastic lungs at the end to win the penalty. I've seen too much shit on facebook and wherever and I just want to call out anybody blaming him today. Not sure how else I can show my support for him. At the end he had nobody and I have never felt as bad for anybody (in a footballing context) as I did for him at the end. It took an age for someone to grab hold of him, and fair play to Nuge for having a word. Seriously though, hats off. Knocky, if there's any chance you or anyone of the lads read this, you have my (and I'm sure thousands of others) support. Gutted for you. ALLEZ LES BLEUS!
crisp monster Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Totally agree - one the best talents ive seen for many years. Hope he continues to learn his trade and stays with us for a long while yet.
cc_star Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Runs a lot? whoop de do! that's the minimum you should expect from someone running out onto the pitch Too selfish to be as good as he could be Times & times he doesn't pass & runs into dead ends and it really costs us chances on opposing goal, it also gives the opposition a chance to score - He's got so much to learn. Got some match winning skills on OCCASION, but he isn't the second coming he thinks he is. If he can learn to pass & not be a greedy ball hogger (which fatally cost us today) then he could be a good player, but for now... he's ok, nothing more - his match winning ability means we should keep him in the squad, but I ain't going to be sucking his dick just yet

Charl91 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 He's had a good season. One of our only players that look threatening - looked so much dangerous than our "strikers", though I can forgive Nugent, since he did score from corners at least.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Love the guy, hope he doesn't beat himself up too much about it. And he'll be all the more determined next season.

foxfanazer Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 No hard feelings at all Knocky! Boys did us proud. All of them!

Monsell1976 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 He is young and will learn from this, and come back better. He's going to be a very good player, and will make the premier league. And people will slate him for taking the penalty and missing, but you could see with the emotion at the end how much he wanted to win, and I am sure he was confident of scoring it. I hope we don't balance the books by selling him, and can't wait to see him next season, stronger and better.
