Danizen Posted 19 May 2013 Posted 19 May 2013 Anyone else seen this? http://www.bringronaldohome.com In one week it's already attracted 4000 pledges of £10 from gullible Man U fans. There's all sorts of noise about the money being refunded if the 'bid' is unsuccessful but I'm sure most of us have been on the Internet long enough to know that isn't going to happen. Absolutely genius. I wish I'd thought it up. That would've been a deposit on a house.

whoareyaaa Posted 19 May 2013 Posted 19 May 2013 Sure the money will go to charity wouldn't it certainly looks like it.
Danizen Posted 19 May 2013 Author Posted 19 May 2013 As I understand it, there will be a small donation to charity. If Man U don't buy Ronaldo, they will "endeavour" to refund all pledges minus a 30% fee. I'm going to take a guess that if their "endeavour" fails for whatever reason (it will), the donation to charity will be significantly less than 30%.
jonthefox Posted 19 May 2013 Posted 19 May 2013 Getting the fans to pay for transfers. For fook sake , don't tell top and co.
Guest Posted 19 May 2013 Posted 19 May 2013 Getting the fans to pay for transfers. For fook sake , don't tell top and co. You can't get half our fans to stump up for tickets never mind fvcking players!
jonthefox Posted 19 May 2013 Posted 19 May 2013 I've probably got this wrong but. A 65 million transfer fee requires 6.5 million fans to pledge a tenner. They then have to stump up another £40 to buy a shirt. so, 6.5 million x £40 is £ 260 million. And all that moolah goes to the Glazers .
SystonFox Posted 19 May 2013 Posted 19 May 2013 Whatever happened to them fvcking green and gold scarves all them plastics used to wear? Tinpot wanckers
Hugo Sanchez Posted 19 May 2013 Posted 19 May 2013 Hope he comes back to England. Seems like Spain has lost its wow factor.
