C-man Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 So yeah, if you're getting your A-level results this week, probably best not to read them out live on TV....
Guest Bilo Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 So yeah, if you're getting your A-level results this week, probably best not to read them out live on TV....   I know I shouldn't but that is brilliant. YES! SHEFFIELD!!!
ousefox Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 So yeah, if you're getting your A-level results this week, probably best not to read them out live on TV.... GCSE results next week for me. I'll be on holiday so at least i don't have to go into school if i haven't done well but i am quite confident i've done ok.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 August 2010 Posted 18 August 2010 Getting my A2 results tomorrwow, not really not bothered for some reason!
samjohnson Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 I dont need luck... I need a miracle  Picking up AS results... today, in about 8 hours...
lcfcadam Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 Anyone else trying to access Track at the moment? When, oh when, will an organisation accurately predict how many people are going to try and access their website?
The Doctor Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 quick question - does anyone go to QE and can you get hold of your results at the moment? i've been to their website and, unlike in march, there's nothing there.
lcfcadam Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 Yes, nice one!!! Will be in the car to Manchester next month
Fosse Boy Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 Can't believe it's three years ago since I found out I was too thick to go to Lancaster. I feel old. Oh well, fack um, nawvern cants. Just found out my brother's got in at Bangor. Good luck to all y'all finding out today, and whatever you get don't worry, it'll work out just fine.
lcfcadam Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 So are there really no FT members getting results today? Or is the news all too bad to share?
David Guiza Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 3 C's and a D in the hugely important subject that is citizenship. So i got into Cov and Trent but i'm still prefering to work my way up through a Solicitors firm rather then go to Uni for 3 years and come out of it with no job, so it's just a matter of finding a firm willing to take me on while i study ILEX.
Mikey Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 Passed all four AS levels, if somewhat underwhelmingly, with C, D, D, E.
The Doctor Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 AS results A,B,D,E A in biology, B in chemistry - both good news, D in computing - Not really a suprise give we had three tutors - 1 of whom was actually a IT teacher and knew nothing about computer programming,1 lasted only two lessons. E in Maths - May need to consider a re-take or two next year
Asha Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 An A, two B's and a C. Takes me nicely into next year.
lavrentis Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 An A, two B's and a C. Takes me nicely into next year. Nice one Ash

Asha Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 AS results complete and utter balls-up... 3 U's and an E.... so ive got some serious thinking to do >_> Pretty much what I was looking at last year. I personally made the choice to retake the year and it was difficult, believe me. Managed to get better grades but I didn't enjoy it at all. Plus, everyone I know is now fooking off to University while I take on Year 13. Not a nice feeling really.
Mee Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 An A, two B's and a C. Takes me nicely into next year. Congrats on the results mate. Which subjects did you take?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 19 August 2010 Posted 19 August 2010 2 C's and a B at A2. What I expected so no surprise or disappointment!
