Aeropars Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 The only one I've kept is a program from 1989 (i think) where i got all the signatures of the players and Brian Hamilton. Not that I remember much as I was only 10 but the likes of Alan Smith are all on there.
Swiss_tony Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 i'll be honest. i would love to get hold of some old Buff's from the 70's.
lcfc1994 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I'm interested in any programs 1990 onwards, oh and season review dvds as I haven't got any
Leicesterpool Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 I've got a spare Leicester v West Brom programme for the 2009-10 season, if your missing that for your collection then it can be yours for a £1.
Master Fox Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 I was thinking of selling mine. I have loads dating back to the 90's. Judging by the comments they have no re-sale value. I no longer want them so I guess the dump is where they'll be heading.
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 I've got framed FA cup final, framed play-off finals (and tickets) and Framed League Cup final.

fazzyfox Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Taking pride of place on the landing the slightly capacity stretched bookcase! Contains:- Programmes in binders and others in bags awaiting binding, Dvds, videos, fanzines, books, odds n sods, china duck in city kit and bobble hat??? framed photos of mainly O'Neill era squad, cuddly toy (list in Bruce Forsyth voice) all topped off with framed print of king Jari of Rantanen land,(if a pro footballer needs shorts specially made because his arse is so big it gives hope to us all). Behind the bookcase are larger programmes, a home made Dennis Wise dartboard and some fluff.
Free Falling Foxes Posted 21 August 2013 Posted 21 August 2013 My brother was offered over £200 for the '64 league cup final home leg - 2 legs in those days - programme. He took it The buyer said they are quite rare. My Bro was dead chuffed - he had another one at home!!!
stockyfox Posted 22 August 2013 Posted 22 August 2013 As is fairly customary with collectable items, the value is determined by supply, demand and scarcity. I had boxes of programmes and various items of memorabilia sitting in the loft and to all intents and purposes forgotten about. Until one day, I brought it all down to show a friend, also an out-and-out City fan, who remarked on the potential value of my collection. So I made an inventory of everything and contacted Dan Davies at Bonham’s. What my friend had said was proving to be correct . Examples:– an absolutely non-mint single sheet from the 1964 Stoke v City League Cup Final 1st leg – could make £250 min at auction! Leicester v Chelsea, final in 1965, good condition should be again £250+ for the Leicester prog. If I had the Chelsea prog, that would only attract about £70. So I bought it on E-bay for £17. 1949 Cup Final? You are looking at hundreds. I bought one on E-bay for about £80. In all, I was told that if I put the whole lot item by item into auction, I could and should be looking at £4000+ and that was a few years ago. Now when I pass on from this Earth to the great football stadium in the sky (formerly known as Filbert Street), my daughters would I am quite have no hesitation in donating my collection to Stockport MBC’s Thursday morning paper recycling service. To counter this, John Hutchinson has digitally photographed most of what I have and this is to be included in the new on-line museum that is being created with De Monfort University and I would hope that after my demise, the whole collection may be given on loan to the Club but ownership remains in the family. So be very careful of what you are throwing away because it may represent the equivalent of a substantial amount of cash. To give you an idea of some of current values – and bargains!!!! Check it out on E-bay.

Meltonfossefox Posted 26 August 2013 Posted 26 August 2013 I'm not encouraging selling them coz I don't but the ones that fetch a few quid are usually the ones where a legend has made his debut against us or someone was on the bench.
