Should this be allowed? Bolton stewards.

Total ****. He needs to take his number thing and report him/or just show them this.

I'm sure stewards only pick on innocent people as well. You never see them trying to eject people who are older and bigger than them. (If you get me).

Is this where I insert a random joke on an unrelated topic?

I don't know if their own cameras were around but the stewards could be monitored as well as the crowd. It would show the incident from beginning to end hopefully.Stewards can detain but not use force but can restrain if needed to. What the video there was no need to use extra force. It was hard to see what resistance the lads were putting up. All the stewards want is for the ground to be empyird as quickly as possible so they can go home. They had probably been there since 10am and some of it having abuse hurled at them by a small section of fans. Their role is to clear the ground so all the officials involved police etc can get the surrounding areas and roads back to normal.

On the subject of stewarding I feel I must stick up for the Derby ones last season. Two of them were getting absolute dogs abuse at half time from some of our fans. Drinks chucked at them and all sorts down in the concourse. I was embarrassed, my mate who was slightly hammered was livid and stuck up for the stewards, then would've had a pasting off about 10 of our own fans if I hadn't had separated it. But the tosser with the curly hair who looks like sideshow bob- we haven't forgot you (or my mate hasn't at least)

Bolton will release a statement to say that the stewards will be extensively retrained, by the end of the retraining some of them will even be able to get to the letter "b" in the alphabet and count up to 3.

I'm not sure if that video is enough to get him the sack or not but my gut feeling tells me the steward is an arsehole. Stewards and bouncers often have similar scumbag tendencies.

Of course, some stewards and even some bouncers are perfectly reasonable but these jobs are always going to attract corrupt thugs.

Yes but bouncers or door supervisors have to have a SIA  licence now. I think stewarss may have to but when I went for an interview I was told i'd be OK but come to think of it that was the car parking side of it.

Stewards are trained though in H&S and man management not sure about people skills. The ones involved will most likely be spoken to at the next training session and reprimanded for being caught on film.

But old enough to give decent city fans a bad reputation.

Have a feeling I know who you're on about actually.

Well someone needs to tell him that wearing casual clobber and being pissed at the footy doesn't make him hard.

If it happens again I'll be getting involved lol

If it's who I'm thinking of, I know who you mean as well. I don't know him, just see him at a lot of away games.
