She was talking to his girlfriend tonight who told her his situation. Did play for England but had a blood clot on his lung so took some time out to recover and was at loan at Torquay. Now with us on trial. Finds out on Monday if he gets signed up, apparently, so we'll see what happens! Could eventually turn out to be very unimportant, but now I know how it feels to be Bert or Knowitall
