MrSpaM Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Exclusive = not on playstation and vice versa That isn't what exclusive means
MrSpaM Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 It is in the ps4 vs xbox context You mean in the deranged fanboy context?
MrSpaM Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 just got some of these for my DS4's They look ace! can you design your own somewhere then?
FrankieADZ Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 They look ace! can you design your own somewhere then? well, with reason I would have thought(size fact and all that) i ordered mine from eBay.seller couldnt get the whole badge on 1, but still looks good imo.
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 You mean in the deranged fanboy context? Oh, sweet irony from Mr Playstation.
Legend_in_blue Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 87 on metacritic. Which makes it by far the highest next gen exclusive by far.......... LiB to spontaneously combust throgh sheer rage before it is released in Europe on Thursday I think I'm still here! I find it baffling that despite the things wrong with this title, and they are as numerous as those which are to be believed in Thief for example, they still justify giving it 8s and 9s. It may have a score of 87, but the user score is quite telling, since it's only 5.9. Even Knack (which is decent) and Thief (which is very good) have user scores of 6.6 and 6.7 respectively. Microsoft have paid out for exclusivity on this but not on potential sequels it would seem. I'm not fussed anyway because online shooters are becoming bland. When the inevitable sequel is released you'd be hopeful that it isn't a 360 port. This glorified online demo can only reach 792p and it struggles enough to do that. The only review score that looks accurate recently imo is DS2. I am sure it will release on ps4 in due course.

You realize the game was released in America today, and their around 5-8 hours behind, at best it's been on the market for three hours when you posted that. So no the "user" score is not that telling at all, given there aren't any, not any with the game at least, perhaps a few bitter Sonyites who have dragged themselves away from whichever average game their playing (in 1080p) long enough to submit a 1/10 review (have you finished writing yours yet?). You mean that's the only review score you agree with

FrankieADZ Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x1gmwh8 This doesnt look average to me. saw a bit of that before it was took down, dont look bad at all.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x1gmwh8 This doesnt look average to me. Well according to a few articles I've seen this afternoon apparently that's exactly what it is nice to look at apparently though. To be fair though I've not see anything from a source I'd consider reliable yet.

To be fair though I've not see anything from a source I'd consider reliable yet. It's averaging 80s which is what I'd expect. I'm still not convinced reviewers understand what exactly it is they expect from the nex gen consoles other than better graphics. All the negatives point towards this being more of the same gameplay seen before, just prettier. What's wrong with that if it works. Frankie has it, what's it like? I've decided to go with Metal Gear Ground Zeroes this month so I'm awaiting my glorified demo through the post by the weekend.
FrankieADZ Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 got MGS:GZ and Infamous SS today, both very good games. both very enjoyable and look brilliant....kinda wish MGS was the full game tho

That's not exclusive to next gen, you role out a game that doesn't build on what's come before it you'll get marked down for it, rightly so no one wants to play the same game twice.
Beliall Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Ive set up the ps3 again. Planning on taking advantage of the f1 2013 deal and maybe some dark souls.
Frank_mckenzie Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 It is worth it, I put away my ps4 on friday due to getting dark souls 2 and I haven't looked back, it is awesome. Bioshock infinite and tomb raider are both free on playstation plus atm so it's worth keeping it close by. FFX HD
Beliall Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Really quiet launch period, im going to catch up on some games I neglected
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Metal Gear GZ is excellent. Well worth the £22 imo. I don't have anything to compare it with graphically but it's the best thing to grace my screen from a console. Looks very impressive. Plays well too and the companion app is the icing on the cake. Phantom Pain is set to be the greatest game of all time if this is anything to go by. Even the cut scenes aren't overly long. Easily see myself getting around 10 hours out of this.
FrankieADZ Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 cant remember where I saw it but there was a mention of DLC or something for Q1 2015 for MGS...so could the full game be out later this or early next. finished Infamous second son earlier....bout 16/18hrs long(more/less depending on your play style etc) very good game....wouldnt pay over £45 for it though

FrankieADZ Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Do you finish everything two days after it comes out? well.... I got it Thursday morning/afternoon. and wasnt as long as expected...normally I wouldnt complete a game in such quick time... though it gives me a chance to flog the game while it still has some worth
