Indeed, although another Rockstar product, Red Dead Redemption, is even worse imo for overrated-ness. I found it so boring, never finished it. Can't say that about any other games really, I tend to finish everything.

Finally someone who thinks red dead redemption is over rated. Everyone i know who has had it i reckon would marry that game. They loved it. I thought it was boring as ****. I got to 2nd island and just got bored of riding stupid horses and skinning random animals. i also agree that GTA5 was over rated. Although i really enjoyed the game it didnt take long to get bored of it. Online was great to start with but that soon got tedious and boring aswel.

 

Im the exact same aswel i tend to finish every game but Red Dead is one i dont think i will ever finish

Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto are both extremely good both on and offline Youz lot are idiots. 

 

EDIT: Although I'll be the first to admit a perfect 10 for either is pushing it.

Did you play on Ni No Kuni? im interested to know what you thought as i dont know anyone else who played it except me and i quite enjoyed it.

Really? I thought the characterisation and plot made it way superior to anything the GTA series has/had to offer.

 

Edit: Don't get the love-in with online modes these days, developers are pushing it at the expense of a good single player mode because they know it'll make more money and I can't stand online gaming with people I don't know, far FAR too many twats out there.

It took me about 2 months after all my mates bought PS4's to get bored of the online which is very good going for a game of that nature. There is too much content for it to become boring quickly if you mix up what you do, and tbh if I still had enough people to play with I'd probably still be playing it now and fully intend to go back when the Heists are put in. RRD is outstanding end of chat .

 

Yes I have although nowhere near the end of it, good game thus far,  Might take me awhile to get through though I've got about 3 games on the go at the minute, I'm fairly busy, and the World Cup games out Friday.

Agreed, captured the look feel and direction of a proper Western story brilliantly.

maybe i just didnt give it a fair chance. May give it another go in the future as its quite cheap now. Do agree that there are alot of twats online

i think the problem with GTA 5 online and all that was the fact they announced a good few things that were not in the game from the start.

 

the online was a vast improvement on GTA4.....can see why people wouldnt enjoy it....as frankly at times....you might not know what to do.

 

I'd be more than happy to play it again on the PS4 though

If RDR came out on PS4 i think i would seriously consider buying it just to see if i have missed out on a great game and not given it the time it deserved.

I can remember playing Simpson's hit and run, Star Wars battlefront and a few others but I would've missed out on most games that were 18s as I was 6 when it came out.

Hit and Run was alright hardly a classic and Battlefront was pretty much Battlefield but Star Wars.

I thought GTA4 was more than just over-rated, it was crap, car handling, taking your cousin on dates every 5 minutes, the washed out depressing colour (lack thereof), gun mechanics were tedious, story was crap. For me the worst game they've done in the last decade. GTAV I enjoyed, it was fun, had some good elements, playing as Trevor was always a laugh, the radio DJ's were brilliant, the heist missions were fun, the story wasn't too too bad, but wasn't a classic by any stretch, technically, considering it was on 8 year od hardware, fair enough, hats off even with the pop in and draw distance issues it was some feat. The fact it's the 2nd highest grossing game of all time is a bit of a piss take though imo. As for Red Dead, I loved it, the characters, the story, the soundtrack, the gameplay. Was one of my favourite games of last gen, personally. I mean Nigel Westdickens and Irish, great stuff.

If you can, try using ethernet and see if you still have a problem, or if you still have your old router, use that instead and just use the Superhub as the modem, I remember hearing they're pretty shitty at being wireless routers.
