nlukka Posted 18 September 2013 Share Posted 18 September 2013 Think it's because a lot of fans don't like Pearson, even the 'one Nigel Pearson' chant gets very few joining in whenever it does get an airing.

langtonfox Posted 18 September 2013 Author Share Posted 18 September 2013 There doesn't seem to be a connection between him and the fans despite his good record with us, does it matter if he gets results?

I blame Wellens Posted 19 September 2013 Share Posted 19 September 2013 Think it's because a lot of fans don't like Pearson, even the 'one Nigel Pearson' chant gets very few joining in whenever it does get an airing. 'Don't like' maybe too strong more like a feeling of apathy towards the manager. In the same way there has been apathy towards the club. Hopefully that is changing and will be represented with more vocal support.

MooseBreath Posted 19 September 2013 Share Posted 19 September 2013 He doesn't exactly give off the air of somebody who would really appreciate that kind of affection. He's like a stubborn old grandad who you might love to bits, but you'd never even think of giving him a hug because you know he'd give you a clip round the ear for being so soft.
