New TV's

Anybody know any good places apart from the obvious argos, curry's asda etc to get a new TV as mine has just blew up.

John Lewis are decent for TVs. They price match too and will often offer an extended warranty in for pittance.

 I went in Curry's with my mate and negotiated a few years ago, They don't come down by much but you can knock £50 odd quid off - or get some free stuff thrown in for the same price.

Not long ago I think all their TVs came with a free five year warranty.  Even though they're not particularly cheap, if they still do this it's a decent deal, given what the likes of Currys charge for them.

 

Also, Marks Electrical do tellys now.  Not sure on prices but they have a decent range and have always seemed keen to do a deal when I was buying white goods.

 

You could always side with the devil and get one from Amazon.  They may not pay any tax, but their prices are keen and the customer service is generally amazing.  Just try to ignore the feelings of guilt, like I do

You'll be exceptionally flukey to find the same product online and for cheaper. The sell pretty good spec stuff, and at pretty much unbeatable prices. I've bought two smart tellys off them in the last 3 years and if I needed another, I'd go straight back.

One of my closest mates is joint owner of Glenfield Television, they also have the lease on the Panasonic store in St Martins Square.
